Hallelujah! Erik has woken up and benched Wout again. Rashford as a number 9 until the end of the season is the best option especially if Sancho can kick on a bit in his favoured position on the LW and Garnacho returns before the end of the season. We still don't create enough chances (although hopefully that will change when Eriksen is back to full match fitness) but what chances we do create you'd want Rashford to be on the end of them.
Not great to see Maguire. But Varane only seems to be able to play once a week and Erik has done very well at managing his minutes and getting a lot more out of him than Ole did last season. Hopefully this summer we will buy a good young CB who can rotate with Varane.
