They Coleman mistake could not happen to a more horrible Scouse prick. He's a real Carragher/Noble - quite good for their average team but their special status for that specific team gives them an inflated entitlement/rating in the real world. Thinks he's a right hard lad too. It's the one genuine unequivocal about McTominay as it happens - he never shies from a confrontation and seems to know he's there to be a medium fish in a larger pond. Martial has a touch of the Nani Vs Arsenals with Everton which is pleasing and hopefully redundant come the end of this season. A groin pull for Rashford could be bad. It doesn't have to mean six weeks, but that's how long I was out when I did mine a few years ago. That was relatively comfortable. I wish we could properly dispatch teams when we have battered them though. Should have been four or five. It could well have been 7 for us if not for that bellend in their goal. Fucker played out of his skin. Gutted for Rashford, but the amount of games we are playing, it's not really a surprise. Thought Sabitzer was good today and great to see CE back on the pitch. Love seeing OT in the sunshine 😎

Very worrying if Rashford is out for a month or so. He's scored around 80-90% of our goals since the beginning of the year.
But at least 6 points from the last 2 games gives us a little breathing room and Casemiro and Eriksen are back.
Looks like we are going to have to take a gamble and hope Martial can manage a run of games without breaking down. When fit and on form he's a 20 goal a season striker. Wout in 30 Premier League appearances for us and Burnley has managed only 2 goals.

Having Eriksen back does soften the blow, as it allows some flexibility to play Bruno on the right of a front 3. Again worth repeating that the club failed miserably in the most basic need or finding a reliable scorer or bringing in enough depth to handle an injury such as this. Martial is going to have to defy 2 horrible years and a goal scoring record of 10 goals in 42 appearances in the league. It’s not looking good.

Good win overall. But we absolutely need to take our chances much better than that. More shots in the first half than any team in the PL has had in any half this season, and only one goal, is poor.
Rashford looked like his self from last season and the two wingers were both disappointing IMO, so bloody slow the pair of them. Everton were absolutely dreadful, we won’t face a team that weak again this season.

Also, Bruno was great today and credit to McTominay who was very good as well.

Not bringing off Rashford instead of Sancho after the 2nd goal could prove to be a massive error

Not bringing off Rashford instead of Sancho after the 2nd goal could prove to be a massive error Ten Hag’s decision making the last few months has been highly questionable. It seems to have all started at the reading fa cup tie.

While both weren’t shit they where just ok against a shit Everton side(Antony was clean through twice and should be scoring at least one if not both of those chances). neither pulled up any trees.
