Again, basic ability to pass your team mates was beyond us. Some of the worst I've seen from us for years. Either miss placed or too heavy. Was incredibly dire. If that was a better side tonight we'd have been battered on the scoreboard. |

Dont get why people are highlighting individual players. With the exception of Onana, Varane and wan Bissaka they were all equally embarrassing tonight.

Don't think that was a penalty, a bit of contact but it's not as if he wiped out the player or prevented him from scoring a clear goal.
I'm still not convinced by AWB at all. Decent assist, but in general, he's dopey as fuck when he hasn't got the ball (players run off too frequently) and he's simply not good enough with it.
Antony and Garnacho were both wank. Rashford as well but I guess we can give him the classic bullshit excuse of it being because he played up top.
Hopefully this was just rustiness from Casemiro as his legs looked fucked. Emphasises the huge need for an able replacement/partner for him. No drive, control, or energy in the middle and they completely outclassed us which is worrying.
Fuck knows what we've been working on in pre-season as that was nothing short of dreadful.
I guess 3 points and the fact that it can only get better are positives though.

That's exactly what I expected from Mount Bruno and Casemiro as a midfield. That's down to ETH and we all know we need to get rid of McT, Donny, Freds gone and needed to buy some decent players in midfield.

The amount of times these players have been easily knocked off the ball. Fuck me. I'm hoping this is a case of ring rust because that was fucking dreadful. Thought exactly the same numerous times. Brushed off the ball on so many occasions. |
