Anyone who watched that Utd youth cup winning team knew Kobe and Garnacho were as close to nailed on as kids get if they got a shot and remained free from serious injury. And I’m not comparing (yet!!) but you can again see why he desperately wanted De Jong in the side. A ball playing CM who can dribble out of trouble and start counter-attacks quickly actually shows us finally what kind of style we should be playing. In fairness you can see whew have been linked with Neves too in Portugal, very similar qualities, also Vermeeren too

Good performance topped with a world class finish but that defence is fucking awful. Had we played a decent team today we’d probably have lost that 4-3 at best. I will take that today but the tough stuff is just around the corner. Boo, Hiss! We're a mid table team now, enjoy the win!! I think I will keep my standards high thank you very much.

Enjoyed that.
All time classic United goal. Might be “better” than Rooney’s but doesn’t quite top it based on the importance. Amazing though.
League table wise, we’re not too badly placed considering we’re probably missing nearly a full starting eleven. Tougher tests to come, mind.
3-0 win with half the squad missing, goal of the season, youngsters impressing, Five Cantonas signalling Christmas on the horizon, Everton in the relegation zone. Lighten up ladies and gents, come on.

Up through the middle link up is the only thing Martial can benefit from. Bruno should make an effort to be in that pocket more often. Won a pen and a goal to show for it.
Worldie goal from the Argie, incredible.

Onana. Joint most clean sheets in the league this season. Strange but true.

1st half not great despite the moment of brilliance from Garnacho. 2nd was better, 100% a pen, and lovely finish from Martial.
Highlight of the game probably Mainoo. He's only 18 and a long way to go, but he absolutely looks like he's got what it takes; calm head, plays under pressure, good feet, can pass, move, advance with the ball, tackle. He's a full package.
Hoping to see a lot more of him this season but also for him to be handled well, he shouldn't be an absolute starter already, get the odd start here and there, sub appearances too, and ease his way into the team. Centre mid is a hell of a difficult position, he needs to grow and learn. Fingers crossed for the lad.

Onana. Joint most clean sheets in the league this season. Strange but true. That’s some achievement with all the defensive injuries we’ve had this season.

Mainoo is a future star if handled correctly and he keeps his feet on the ground…
Garnacho was decent and scored goal of the season. Pellistri was instantly an upgrade on anyone we have played on the right wing this season…
Hannibal could be good but needs to be a little more disciplined.
But we have the basis for a good team going forward. I think there are more youngsters that could be integrated too.
Also thought Shaw looked pretty solid…

Onana. Joint most clean sheets in the league this season. Strange but true. Since his horror start, he’s been largely excellent.

We rode our luck at times in the 1st half but that was a great performance/result on the whole.
Everton had been on a decent run themselves. To go there and do them 3-0 in a hot-tempered atmosphere gives me hope we can advance well through this hard run of fixtures.
Hopefully we follow a similar pattern to last year in terms of coming good after a slow start.

Mainoo needs to be starting in the PL from now on. he has it all. he literally could go on to be one of the best midfielders about and thats no hyperbole.
Country miles ahead of Mctom and Amrabat.

Obviously don’t want Mainoo to be run into the ground but when you’re so clearly gifted you have to be playing. We’ve seen with plenty of players here in the past and with the likes of Bellingham now that when you’re good enough, you’re old enough.
