I am hopeful Dan Gore will come through like Mainoo. Gore is very very composed on the ball, just hope he doesn't go down the Garner route

Obviously don’t want Mainoo to be run into the ground but when you’re so clearly gifted you have to be playing. We’ve seen with plenty of players here in the past and with the likes of Bellingham now that when you’re good enough, you’re old enough. Wasn't Fabregas bossing it at like 17 in arguably a more physical Premier League. Mainoo is good enough

Solid match this, can't remember the last time we knocked a 3-Nil win....
Garnashes with a absolute out of this world goal and looked every bit the part yesterday. Was leading the attack like we hoped he would.
Mainoo, not ready to say he should be starting every match because this is Everton not Arsenal, but I was impressed.
When Martial is being a soft as glass mannequin, he is calm as you like in front of goal.
Onana is showing what we thought he was when we signed him, I can't say enough how impressed I am of how he has bounced back.

Onana. Joint most clean sheets in the league this season. Strange but true. Since his horror start, he’s been largely excellent. Your point about having a calm capable holding mid who can receive the ball and turn or create space like De Jong or Mainoo is also relevant here. We haven't seen the best of Onana yet because of what is in front of him. He pulled off some really good saves yesterday and was solid under the high ball too, but he is best when playing out from the back, so needs players who can do that.

Confident passing the ball out too. It was shaky every time before but he looked at ease with it and the players did too...

Casemiro falling off a cliff and Martinez getting hurt didn’t help him.

Wasn't able to watch the match but watched the highlights on MOTD earlier - we looked very open and they had a lot of good chances. Still, a wins and win and it was an important one.

Watch the Garnacho celebrations back. No one is gassing Garnacho up other than Scott. It’s like the lads see this every day. But doing it in a game is different. That’s why Scott is still around. He gets football.

I still think overall he’s a downgrade and May end up costing us more points than Dave would, but I’m a fan, and sure there’s more to come with a settled, proper footballing backbone in front of him.

You can't judge Mainoo after one game but he looks a prospect especially in that position. Its worth noting that Everton didn't press us anywhere near as much as a better side would. Be interesting to see how composed he is under real pressure. I like him because he wants to play simple, a trait some midfielders struggle with.
