We are sleep walking into a 8th or 9th place finish right now. We can't compete against any decent side. Villa would make quick work of us and im dreading the Liverpool game. We need a change of ownership above all else because I've no faith that replacing ETH would yield better results because these players are diabolical at times. There has to be a change of direction and that has to start with a mass sell-off. When players know there futures are on the line, you'll see a different approach. It's too comfortable playing for this club. This is my argument for backing the manager. I think it’s worth doing purely to show the players they won’t oust another one. Down tools all you want, but you’ll be gone before he is. You’ve very little leverage over a footballer nowadays as a manager. They’re earning five times as much as you for a start. Job security is massive in that sense. But then again, I’d have done this with Ole. Would’ve flung every single one of them under a bus ahead of a man who gave me one of the best moments of my life. Hard to argue with this. You can't tell me the manager instructs players to ball watch or tells the likes of Rashford not to track back. The Players don't even respect one another.

A lot of them are jaded and tarnished. I just think without a wholesale clear out of 90% of them, there’s no point changing managers. If you look at how good Ole was to most of them and they still fucked him over. There’s nowt you can do with this lot. But the clock is ticking before the bright spots in the squad become tainted by that mentality as well.

Just to say, for all the talk of Maguire’s resurgence, we’ve conceded 3 goals on four occasions with him at the heart of the defence this season. He’s shite, slow and doesn’t have any organisational skills. Had a good game against Sheff United and the media were all over him again. Infuriates me seeing him in the starting eleven because he should have been sold in the summer and some actual quality brought in after. Thats how far we have fallen. our defenders shouldn’t have much anything to do against shite like Sheffield Utd but sacking ETH won’t solve the root of the problem. Start with SJR and then start making the changes from the top down(ETH will probably end up getting replaced during that process anyway).

At least Maguire looks like he gives a shit even though he`s average at best, how the fuck is Martial still here? a proper club wouldn't be in this situation, Rashford is looking for a move by the look of it, not trying this season at all he must be thinking well its worked for Martial and Sancho money for nothing.
We are forever fucked with these owners as long as they stay we fail, changing the manager will solve nothing even though ETH looks completely lost now.

My word, his interviews are becoming so similar to Ole’s. Embarrassing. Sounds absolutely delusional doesn’t he. Ratcliffe won’t do a fucking thing to fix this club. He can’t. We needed the Qataris to come in with the dough and sterilize the entire club top to bottom.

Talk of another “bust up” with him and Martial post game ? Martial itching to join Sancho and earn free wages I guess. They’re all just waiting for him to get the sack at this rate.

The goal was AWB fault, really don't see how going straight for Maguire makes any sense. Saying that I don't buy the sudden push by the media to highlight how hard he's trying. I expect that at all times

Over a billion quid wasted in 10 years, Eth has spent what 400m? He had one player starting last night who was his singing, lindelof Shaw rashford Bruno Maguire martial awb Scotty all been here failed and seen other managers out of the door, yet the same players are still here and still playing, it's fucking ridiculous each manager comes in and we say we need a new team yet those players who should have been dumped by previous managers are still here.
So we get a new manager in, in saying January he's going to still have and still play these players the clubs an absolute shambles the only way it would have changed was with Qatar and full wholesale changes.

I expect that at all times Dalot was also playing so deep compared to other defenders he let them cross into area btw him and other defenders and play onside. He was at least five yards closer to goal. Then AWB just stopped marking in most dangerous area of the pitch. No cohesive team effort.

Maguire was decent yesterday, but really he's just doing what he should be doing. You see centre backs having good games at shit teams all the time becuase they are used to getting bombarded like us. Maguire and Shaw were good and Shaw can play there no doubt, but then you end up with Dalot and AWB as your full backs and once they play against anyone decent it's a fucking mess. It's so important to have FB's who are really comfortable on the ball in the way we want to play. The full backs we have are shit apart from Shaw and it adds to the chaos and complete lack of ability to control the ball from the back and in midfield.
Scholes made a good point about Bruno. He's a good 10, but he is all over the place and that's not good for the structure of the team. Mctominay is never in the best positions as a CM and his ability on the ball is limited as a mid. We know what he offers, but that's not what is needed.
The period last year, when Varane, Martinez and Shaw played a lot, with Eriksen and Casemiro on top form and a more focused Bruno as a 10 was some of the best football for years. That only happened for 3/4 months, because of injury and suspension, but that's what balance and technical ability give you.
I think we are trying to play football most of that team can't handle, but the lack of fight and smarts from some of them is just frustrating.

Forget the instructions just start by getting the right players on the pitch in the right position. The ownership is rotten……. Plug play repeat we know this. But Malcs boys aren’t picking Rashford on the right or Dalot at left back or martial up front or MCT in the middle. The manager has to do better, sorry but he is not just gonna hide behind rubbish owners, he is playing his part right now His big saving grace is that we should have enough to be ruthless in getting rid of these names however, he is part of the process of squandering money
