I'm ever so happy for young Rasmus. I think he is one of only 2 signings ten Hag has made that shows potential and heart.

Keep on playing Hojlund, Garnacho and Mainoo and the supporters will back ten Hag. Hopefully this could be the moment that turns around our season. this(add kambwala to the list). build a team around these young players. along with some smart signings that fit our up and coming structure and this should put us on the right track for our rebuild. The rest of the squad should be moved on over the next 2-3 years. I’m still not convinced ETH is the manager to do this but if he goes down this path I will cut him a bit of slack for now. |

Onana coming running up to join in. He's like Bailly. The mad bastard has so many mistakes in him but you can't help but love him. To be fair he was probably stood in the Villa half anyway when that corner went in 😂. Proper made up for Hojlund though. Can see how much that meant to him. As brilliant as that 2nd half was it pisses me off that we're in the position we're in because last night they proved they can perform when they want to. Whatever was said at half time needs to be said before every game. Mainoo needs to start every week unless injured, the lad is class. Garnacho needs to start from the right. |

There’s enough young talent here to give you a modicum of hope for the future. He has to lean on these guys massively. You even see it with the likes of Hannibal and Gore coming on late. They will give you absolutely everything.

No excuse not to start Garnacho as the RW from now on. It keeps Rashford in his best position (only position?) and also keeps mega-flop Antony away from the lineup.

They will give you absolutely everything. It speaks highly of Mainoo’s mentality that as a kid he was able to leave that mistake on Saturday behind him and perform so well. He’s playing for the first team as composed as he was for the youths and reserves. Huge talent. |

I made a point of focusing on him during the match, and you can see him proactively adjusting his position continually. Very intelligent player.

Working as a team as one was a beautiful thing to watch in the second half. Players running to the ball and closing down after turning the ball over forced Villa into uncomfortable possession and led to turnovers and opportunities to create chances for us.
Maybe this was what ETH was alluding to when he would comment about the players following instructions? We actually looked like we knew each other and not just met before kick off. And yes, the kids are all right!
On a side note, Garnacho was the only UTD player that I left on my fantasy team, wish I had made him Captain…..😏

When fit Erickson should always start ahead of Mctominay.

For some reason Mainoo hyping up the supporters when leaving the field was the best thing I’ve seen from any of our players for a while. What a young leader.

When fit Erickson should always start ahead of Mctominay. He needs to be gone in summer. Thought some of the moaning about the McTominay sub in here was a bit strange. It was 2-2 I believe and he does have a goal in him. Mainoo at this stage of his career does not. Agreed though, I quite like the idea of those two together. Maybe not robust enough against decent sides away from home though. |
