I mean sir jim has done more in a few months then the rats have done in 20 years fuck me how far ahead even with all of city's money could we have been with decent owners and people in charge of this club, it's going to take years to clean this mess up but this is one hell of a start. Fair fucking play I wanted Qatar all day because I wanted their money but if we carry on like this and we can bring success on the pitch we don't need any oil state cash.Long way to go before we can make such claims. It was always expected things are going to improve under INEOS , but being slightly better than glazers is not enough , we need to compete with city and get back to winning the league regularly. I still have my doubts in that. Slightly better? Bet you're fun at parties.

Chris Wheeler(don't know if he's creditable) is saying we rejected a bid from Fulham for McT as it was under 30mil

I'm loving the piss this has boiled from the blue side of scouseland 😂. They're not handling it well at all that we've gone for Yoro over Branthwaite.

Arsenal and Liverpool both pushed City hard. Both of them could have won a few titles. Pep will leave City soon.
If we are bringing in 3-4 U25 year olds every summer with great potential and Erik does a good job developing them and can start to develop a proper style now he has better players to work with then we will be a formidable outfit a few years down the line.

Yeah it's a bit odd some of the stuff coming out of the club about us buying yoro instead, I mean they took the piss with the fee they wanted not sure what they expected.

Going to be light at RB if AWB goes. Dalot already gets pulled to the left because our left backs are unreliable. If they sell they better have replacements in mind.

He has his short-comings but he’s also put in some great performances. Unless the money is used on a replacement RB I’d rather we keep him and concentrate on other areas of weakness, even if we then lose him on a free next year (yeah, I know it’s not my money). Should we let him go, lose Dalot to injury or the left for an extended period, we could see a repeat of the no cover for positions situation that crippled us at times this past season.

If AWB goes it does leave us short at RB, but at the same time it's a statement sale. Far too many players have hung around far too long. He's not good enough. He'll never be good enough. Same goes for McTominay. Having cloggers around just maintains the idea that we're not a serious club. They've both had more than enough opportunities and the time has come to get them out the door.
Rashford is stinking the place out, Casemiro too, but they've both had some top, top performances. Those 2 haven't, neither are anything like the level a top 6 club needs so get them out and show that this is the new regime at United, if you don't cut it then you are out.

Just looking through Reddit and a post on the top ten clubs we have paid transfers to over the last 20 years...
1 Ajax - 208.09m euro - 4 players
2 Real Madrid - 185.7m euro - 3 players
3 Everton - 154.1m euro - 3 players
4 Chelsea - 153.6m euro - 3 players
5 Dortmund - 143m euro - 3 players
6 Juventus - 122m euro - 2 players
7 Sporting - 110.5m euro - 3 players
8 Atalanta - 95.2m euro - 2 players
9 Leicester - 87m euro - 2 players
10 Monaco - 75.6m euro - 3 players
Ajax - Blind, Antony, VdB, Martinez Real - CAS, Varane, Noodle spine Everton - Rooney, Fellaini, Lukaku Chelsea - Matic, Mata, Mount Dortmund - Mkhi, Sancho, Too soon Juve - Pogba, Ronnie Sporting - Rojo, Bruno, Nani Atalanta - Rasmus, Amad Leicester - Maguire and Evans? Monaco - Martial, Evra and Falcao
Quite the list! Stand out for me would be, Evra, Rooney, Too soon, Bruno, Martinez. Not including Ronnie as it is his second spell even though he bagged a ton of goals, the way it ended kind of tarnished his legacy for me a bit. Mata, I'm sorry, you just weren't used to your full potential, you beautiful bearded human being. Matic was just too late in his career, likewise CAS and Varane. Nani was fucking class on his day too. Scored some wonderful goals.
Anyhow, that's enough shite from me! Not quite summer 2024 news, but transfer related!
Btw, Reddit doesn't allow C&P so I had to type this out on mobile!

A week where Yoro and Zirkzee come in and Greenwood and AWB leave is actually pretty darn good. If you can agree a deal for MCT leaving, that would be superb. You'd then expect another 2 signings next week (DM & CB) with sales to follow to allow for us to get a RB & LB
