...although a quick glance at Google suggests Liverpool are lining up Amorim because Alonso wants another season where he is.
Perhaps our next CEO could make a sneaky phone call...

Ten Hag: “The team showed big character to fight back, we deserved the equaliser and went for the win - we showed big personality and character”.
“You have to see the bigger picture. The bigger picture looks very good”.
Can we fucking get shot of this guy already.

Had this been city away with a few injuries then maybe but it’s Fulham at home ffs. This is now getting to ole/moyes level of delusion. I think the Russia opposition leader that has just died of ‘natural causes’ is a more believable statement. All the games we have recently won we could have easily lost had the opposition had their shooting boots on. SJR and his team should be(and probably are)planning for his replacement before the start of next season.

You don't come out with this straight after.

If he was good enough he'd have succeeded or shown signs. He's delusional. I don't disagree. It's extremely delusional and a pattern emerging that previous managers have shown before the inevitable. Whether he stays or not hope INEOS make the right moves in the summer. At the very least certain players need to be moved on quickly.

Saw those quotes yesterday. The bigger picture? The bigger picture is that you’ve been here nearly 2 years, spent a fortune and we are honestly no better a side than when Ole was in charge; arguably worse.
Our future may be looking brighter but unless there’s some massive turnaround and he all of a sudden develops a style of play or any tactical nouse, he won’t be a part of it.

After 18 months in and 400 million spend we are all hoping city go easy on us next week and just score 3 or 4. no other club will put up with standards that low but he may as well stay and have the city,Liverpool and arsenal humiliations on his tenure so the next manager can have a clean slate under the new regime.

Nothing particularly convincing about Ten Hag this season. We've won more games than we deserve to but that's usually because we still have some players like Garnacho, Bruno, Hojlund and Scotty who can paper over the cracks with goals/assists when low quality opposition fail to finish us off. Our goal difference is a testament to how unconvincing we've been this season.
Obviously we do need better players. But FFP limitations mean we cannot buy 2 world class players in every position. So we do need a manager who can build a team that is better than the sum of its parts and doesn't fall to pieces when a few key players are missing. And I see little evidence that Erik is that manager.

One thing that I am optimistic about is that this will be the last season where such mediocrity will be tolerated for so long.
Had ratcliffe been in charge 12 months ago he’d have sacked ETH after the disastrous CL campaign or Christmas at the very latest plus we would never have wasted over 100 million on shite like onana and mount.

I also think that this job has broke him just like it broke all his predecessors. Most of the stuff he comes out with could have easily come out of Ole's mouth. I don't know who he thinks he is fooling but aside from the emergence of Mainoo and Hojlund finding his feet there hasn't been any real evidence of progress this season. And it is gaslighting to try and make the fans think there is something OK about losing to Fulham our TENTH Premier League defeat this season with 12 games left to play. We have 44 points from 26 games.
Keep that up and we are finishing on 64 points which is the same total as Moyes and a little worse than LVG's worst season that got him sacked (even though he still won a domestic cup that season!).
He will blame injuries. But he's been given a lot of money to spend. And other managers had to get by with squads that had far more holes than ours currently have. I mean Ole got us top 4 two seasons in a row with McFred and Chuckle brothers as the core of the team. LVG and Jose were handicapped in various ways and had much weaker squads to work with but both made us difficult to beat and effective if boring to watch and even when results deteriorated as players started to down tools we never got humiliated as regularly as we do under Erik and we never used to struggle to the same extent to beat even very mediocre teams. And even when we have our first XI available I cannot remember many games in which we were in full control and won easily.

That hasn't happened with Erik yet but if it did we would finish midtable for sure. Marcus says hello and yesterday he wasn’t on his own.

It would boil your insides. He's been embarrassing this season.
