Who is watching?!!
As said in previous threads, who fucking knows what team will turn up. The fuckers should not need any motivation to beat this lot, or at least get something out of it. I'm on a new job site which is full of em, so this better be a decent performance.
My worry is we are putting to much on Mainoo. He needs a break at some point.

However I will go for a draw…
I just pray that it’s not a humiliation, which is always a possibility with this team…

It would be great to see him get his chance…

At this point it is all about optics.
We aren't making top 4. The 5 points dropped against Chelsea and Brentford will come back to haunt us. And it would take a miracle to win the FA Cup with Manchester City in our way.
So would be very helpful to Erik's cause if he can beat Liverpool twice in a row. SJR is a fan so it would earn Erik major points.
More likely though they will be hungrier than us because their motivation is to a) Avenge the FA cup defeat b) Enjoy bragging rights c) Return to the top of the table.
Even if we win we remain in 6th place trailing Tottenham and Villa by some distance and we all know this team isn't consistent enough to close the gap and the players and manager must know it too.
It would be better really if SJR told Erik that he needs to win the FA Cup or finish top 4 to keep his job. Maybe it would give some incentive to Erik to fire up the players and get the tactics and substitutions right.
But it seems to me that Erik is just playing the victim card blaming all the injuries and refusing to see the evidence on the pitch of how shit the performances are and doing anything about it.

I'm watching WrestleMania live from midnight-5AM, and this falls right before my attempted nap. Will probably be hard to sleep when each time I close my eyes I see fucking Mo Salah...
We have absolutely nothing to play for apart from pride, and the players haven't had that in years. This could be a bloodbath.
