hello fellow ROM members,
my names marc, 23 year old living in stretford. ill crack on with the introductoury Q'tions:
How long have you been a red? my family and I moved to manchester from Russia when i was aged just 2, and my father who was a FC Rostov fan had a decision to make. City or United. Thankfully, he decided to take me and my brother to united games aged 5/6 and whilst i wasnt interested too much in the game at that stage, i remember to this day the first time i walked up the stretford end steps and set eyes on the pitch. Was bought a ST for my 11th birthday, been lucky enough to hold one every year since.
Who's your favourite player in the current squad? atm, gotta be Wes, Scholesy or Ruud. The latter i have little doubts will be leaving this summer, but hes an absolute legend. Im also one of kieran richardsons biggest fans
Who's your favourite past player? Oh come on man, this is like asking whats better, football or sex? I cannot really comment, this being Manchester United its hard to choose a specific player. I'll narrow my list down to Pallister, Schmeichel, Cantona and Irwin. Dont no what it was about Dennis, loved the fella. Also was devastated when Beckham had a fall out with SAF. Had i been around in the Busby/ Charlton era's. no doubt they would get a shout.
If were talking of players from anywhere, i felt priviledge to be able to watch Stoichkov and Batistuta in my lifetime.
One thing you wish you could tell Fergie? not to fall out with our best players/ most important players !!!!
