Erik also walked out of the press conference after getting asked a question. It’s over

Garnacho has liked a couple of tweets from Goldbridge criticising Erik for taking him off. Good.

Change management as often as you want but you can’t have the tail wagging the dog.

We’re totally fucked until we get a new coaching team and players that are always proud to play for us in every game.

We are screwed. SJR, Brailsford and Ashworth all have a British bias so if they do get rid of Erik they will be lining up Potter or Southgate.

Erik also walked out of the press conference after getting asked a question. It’s over He was asked about the possibility of this season being worse than the moyes one, he didn’t like it at all! Well that’s what you’re facing Erik, you’ve e had all season to sort shit out in terms of formation and tactics but instead stubbornly carried on doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results, madness! How he can say conceding so many shots is not an issue is mind boggling, the law of averages suggests Erik the more shots you give away the more goals you’re likely to concede, fucking moronic

For all the clubs faults this year ETH should be doing better than he is.
But where do they go from here ? ETH probably isn’t the right fit but I don’t trust them to bring in the right manager.
I don’t even know who they should bring in

not sure if many have seen it but there is a video of Guilt interviewing ETH i believe and questioning his tactics and how open the midfield was at Ajax. Long and short, it's supposedly part of his tactical approach.
I fear the manager really has not gotten to grips with the league and adapted. I'd be shocked if he gets another season, even with the right players if the tactics are wrong then we aren't going anywhere

I don’t even know who they should bring in If you look at the injuries Eddie Howe has had at Newcastle and the Tonali farce and they're above us now. It's very clear to me that Ten Hag has done a shit job this season. Those journalists are kittens compared to us supporters. Imagine what we would hit him with if allowed into those press conferences.

In mitigation, ETH was finished answering questions before that question was asked. The presser was over before the question was snuck in there. It’s a bit like claiming I stormed out of work when I left bang on 5pm on Friday.
He didn’t like the question though clearly.
However, I really think it’s over for him now. That’s clear to see. I think we’ve seen the usual from most of the players, not taking any responsibility, foot completely off the gas when we drew the shittest team left in the FA Cup. They’ll measure another final defeat as a successful season.
But his tactics etc have been found woefully lacking. There’s more to this than just the players not playing for him. I’m not even sure they’ve fully turned on the bloke tbh. They’ve switched off, but I’m not sure they’re actively trying to get him sacked. That’s what’s going to happen though because he’s not going to be capable of saving himself with the way he sets the team up and his in-game management.

Chelsea could also finish above us. Six points behind with two games in hand and superior goal difference. Erik might have been within his rights to ignore the question and storm off but it’s a valid question and an 8th place finish after all the money he’s been allowed to spend would make his position untenable.
He’s been dealt a bad hand this season. Recruitment has been crap and while that’s partly on him it also reflects the incompetence of Fletcher and Murtough. The injuries have been unprecedented. But end of the day we are still struggling to beat teams with a fraction of our resources and the tactics are shocking and while we might be able to get away with them in a weaker league or with superior first team players this season they’ve left us badly exposed and when you give opposing teams so many chances on goal and struggle to create much the other end of the pitch it’s no surprise we have negative goal difference and are floundering closer to mid table than top four.
