Casemiro has struggled all season but to play him at CB aswell when you can see he isn't comfortable there is just destroying the guy even further. He must have been wishing to be taken off after that. Stick Kevin DeBruyne in this team and ask him to play in this position. . I expect Cas to be the next scapegoat.

I’d fire him now and be done with it. Let a caretaker manage the final Get Mourinho in for just one fucking match, one last go at pep. This is actually a great idea !

Palace are first to every ball. This is going to be 4-0 job Good call. Do you have this week’s upcoming Powerball numbers to share? No, but I have a good idea how our last 4 games are going to pan out.

Other than the FA Cup what is there left to play for? why play Evans that is not fit and Casemiro who has been massively poor all season? Play youth! Collyer is a DM, let’s see Mainoo next to a proper DM. Play Amass at Left back. Round pegs in round holes.
Eriksen is done at this level and I think the same for Casemiro. Antony is a disgrace at this level, don’t play him!!! Play Diallo and let’s see if the guy is staying next season.
Manager does not himself and I appreciate the players are pathetic but manager is not doing his bit

We’re now in danger of ruining the 3 talented kids who have been just about the only bright sparks this season. This is my fear too… Thankfully I missed the game but I heard Mainoo wasn’t all that… Might ruin his chances for the Euros…

Evans failed a fitness test yesterday but was asked to play by Ten Hag. I'd wager most of the injuries sustained in training are due to his training methods as well.

Evans failed a fitness test yesterday but was asked to play by Ten Hag. That is so poor considering this game was not important really. Get Evans fit for FA cup where you have something to fight for. Cannot understand it. A mobile, fluid and fast palace front line against an unfit 36 year old CB and DM that had no pace and can be rash in the tackle. Real clever management

Scholes and Owen both suggesting McClaren as caretaker manager until the end of the season claiming he is a much better coach than Erik and suspecting he has been frozen out this season as they aren't seeing any of his fingerprints over the team. It isn't a bad shout. I don't think he could do any worse than Erik in the remaining games.
Erik is making lots of self-serving excuses lately. Saying Kane rather than Hojlund was his first choice in the summer. Saying that Mourinho was the only manager who got the players he wanted. So he probably already knows he is on the way out and that will just make him even more erratic. And the players can probably sense he is losing it and that is probably unsettling them.
The injury situation is ridiculous. I have also concluded that Erik must be largely responsible. Either from the training sessions or the chaotic tactics that leaves our defence completely exposed or a combination of both. But even so he could have done a lot better with the selections.
It seems pretty basic that when the only thing you have left to play for is the FA Cup it makes no sense to risk players who aren't fit. Also makes very little sense to play Casemiro in central defence when doing so weakens our midfield further with both Eriksen and Mount clearly not match fit. And why on earth aren't we drafting in some players from the youth set up? At least they have some experience playing in defence even if it is at a much lower level. I think AWB could also do a job for us in central defence.
Anyway at this point I am just rooting for things to go from bad to worse. At least that should shake INEOS up and get them to make necessary changes the first of which should be to replace Erik with someone competent who knows what he is doing.

ETH’s “tactics” are bad enough, but his total inability to adapt is even more shocking. And as many have said, why not play the youth - at least you’ll have people in the right positions who will be up for it. The man’s an idiot.

McClaren might end up hoodwinking his way into a permanent position, so no. The chances of us putting a performance together to win the cup are almost zero. We won't be able to mug City as we did with Liverpool, so we might aswell start clearing the decks now and that includes ETH. There's no point sacking ETH if the same bunch of losers are around for the next sacrificial lamb. We have to clean house in the most ruthless way possible. There's no alternative. ETH has proven to be no better than Ole really. Tactically he's really hopeless and he's apparently kicking the shit out of these players in training, yet they can't defend nor string 5 passes together in midfield. Oles last season was awful but this one's right up there. Both Chelsea and Newcastle will finish above us now, which is really telling.
