Fun game to watch and some good individual performances. Still alarming how many shots we conceded and never felt like we truly had control.
It does show there is some quality here. Particularly the younger guys in attacking positions. We must give them a good base to play in front of.

Amrabat was actually quite decent last few games. Like everyone he's been a bit unlucky with injuries but Erik has made the same mistake with Casemiro that he made with Rashford by continuing to select him in the hope he could recapture last season's form instead of giving someone else a chance. Mainoo looks a lot more comfortable alongside Amrabat and our defence gets a bit more protection. Obviously he hasn't done enough to earn a permanent move but we should really make a top class CDM a priority this summer. It would free up Mainoo, give our defence more protection, and we'd look a lot more balanced as a team.
As for Antony it is criminal he still gets games when Amad has taken his limited chances superbly well. Hopefully both Antony and Erik are sent packing this summer and Amad will get a lot more gametime next year. It is so refreshing to have a wide player who is not selfish and braindead.

Amad is just better than Antony. Simple as that. It's weird he's had so few opportunities, he's done well every time he's played.
15 goals for Hojlund now too, which is pretty much where most people were expecting him to get to. Criticism of him is baffling.
