5 wins out of 17 in the league 1 win in 9 in Europe. Absolutely fucking grim. Curious, why did you choose 17 games? I didn't choose 17 games. It was a stat I saw on twitter. Not quite sure why it matters though. It's abysmal form however you put it. |

It's not just that Antony came on and not Amad, either of them (Amad) should have started ahead of the right-back that was deployed as a 10.

I trust that the people running the club now have an idea of what they are doing. I am just unsure of what they are waiting for.. this is clearly only going to end with him being sacked.. might as well have something to play for still when it happens. The longer they wait the more difficult it'll be. They wait until Christmas and the season could have already been written off. At least doing it now there's a chance to change things. I'm hoping they do have a plan, but the longer it goes, the less faith I'm having in that plan. They need to act and quickly. Quick enough to sack 250 members of staff because it was necessary moving forwards, this is aswell. |

He brings it all on himself. Playing a RB as a No.10, when you already have a No.10 on the pitch. Playing Zirzkee as a No.9 when it's clear as day he's not comfortable there. Playing Rashford AND Garnacho even though they're both left sided players. They both deserve to be playing but forcing players to play out of position is becoming a real problem with him. Bringing on Antony before Amad the using the excuse he uses for it just topped it all off. He's creating more questions than providing answers. |

INEOS seem to regard Erik as a placeholder manager and seem to prefer that to sacking him and appointing a caretaker manager.
Unfortunately they are also wedded to the idea of a long term process. So the way they see it better to write off this season and then try to find a suitable replacement this summer than give Erik a fat pay-off and roll the dice with Ruud as caretaker manager.
We probably aren't that attractive to prospective managers. Tuchel turned us down because he didn't like the INEOS structure and anticipated arguments over transfers. Zidane isn't interested and doesn't speak much English. There is some chatter about Simone Inzaghi but he doesn't speak much English either and he'd be mad to leave Inter. Amorim won't be available until the summer and is probably setting his sights higher than us with some talk of the Manchester City job. I don't think anyone really wants Howe, Potter or Southgate. Terzic would be an interesting choice and is immediately available but there hasn't been much chatter about him. Allegri also immediately available but little mention of him.
So I think we just probably need to suck it up and stick out this season and hope that this summer INEOS make a good appointment.

Fuck the players, spend some cash on a competent manager with a vision, THEN the players will want to come. Who that individual is, I don’t know. Most of us thought ETH had the resume to adapt, but he hasn’t even tried to implement what made him successful and admitted as much. Dead gaffer walking.

If tuchel was actually our main target in the summer and he turned us down which is apparently true and then he turned us down again before he went for the England job we are more fucked then we actually thought, it wouldn't surprise me if Newcastle bin Howe and replace him with the ex Dortmund manager and then we end up with Howe. How can Manchester United be stuck with a manager because nobody else actually wants the job. |
