This might have been answered elsewhere, but how will we pay for this if we are going to run out of money next Christmas?

This might have been answered elsewhere, but how will we pay for this if we are going to run out of money next Christmas? The condition of the clubs finances have no bearing on the financial aspect of the new stadium. I'm hoping INEOS fund it to eventually leverage a higher stake in the club. That's how I'm looking at it anyway as Ratcliffe said funding the stadium isn't the problem and would make business sense. Either that or some sort of consortium will be involved id imagine. No government funding will be used though, that's already been confirmed.

Lots of digital screens around for many brands to be showcased.

Perhaps I'm mistaken, but I remember Arsenal not being able to participate much in the transfer market during the construction of the Emirates because their money was tied up.

Clubs don’t pay for stadiums all with their own cash. It’s always through financing.
This isn’t really considered bad debt, because this stadium will spit out money without any problems whatsoever.

Just hope the yanks aren't around to get their claws on any of it. Wishful thinking I know.

First impressions were influenced by the clown/circus brouhaha on the internet.
I like it, looks ace.

I think once you look under the tent structure, it may well be a phenomenal football stadium.
I found it hard to see the actual stadium + structure under the drapes, but there's a real colosseum element to it.
Jonas Giæver mentioned it kind of gives off San Mames vibes, which I sort of agree with. Apparently the most impressive stadium in Spain, and definitely on my bucket list.
Apparently the model that was created had one, single tier stand behind the goal(s) - this would be immense for the atmosphere.
As mentioned by others, it doesn't resemble the standard printer/toilet seat copy/paste mega-stadiums that have no soul.
There will be nothing else like it, which I like.
Weird Seattle Space Needle situation on the one spire is pretty interesting. Can imagine there would be a lift/viewing deck or something there.

That will be a decent revenue generator on its own(I will be going in that at the first opportunity).

Yup the structure under the canopy is very exciting. I’m all for green engineering and sustainability and if the canopy contributes to it, all the better.
It’s long overdue and I think it’ll be the best stadium in the world when it opens.

Who’s the lad on here who has been grafting on Everton’s new stadium? Could do with a RoM man on the inside for New Trafford.
