Hi Lads

I'm another school-boy! I'm not from Manchester and not even English! I'm Swiss (proud anyway)! So from a footballing point of view most of you are lucky bastards to live near your club. I often have to travel 2h just to reach a pub where a MUFC fan club is following the game, but i am not here to moan the hell out of you!
I'm into the Red Devils and England (I know you don't want to hear that) since I can remember! I love the speed, passion and physicalness, especially of ManU! I came closest to ManU in 2003 (?) when they beat Basel 1:2 away! I didn't manage to get a ticket, so I had a great time getting pissed before the St.J.Park and fucking about with the security staff!
My favorite current player is Neville because h's "homegrown" and he progressed the most since I'm watching him! He developed from a woodenly typically English (sorry) defender to a modern right back with great rushes and good crosses!

think I bored you long enough... I' m glad for some tips and tricks how to get tickets for a ManU-game far from the tourist sections

Ahm... thanks for the friendly welcome!!! The place looks great! If anyone feels like doing match reports during the season and is not happy with mine (in German of course) feel free to check out our struggling homepage which was planed to be the worlds largest football homepage. Somehow a certain MUFC-Fan had enough passion

It's nice that you make a foreigner feel so welcome, but I don't know if your serious (noooo I'm not looking for an other welcome

). I mean I don't know whether I like the foreign fans (sounds like a split personality i know

). As mentioned in an other thread to many day-trippers (not enough HC's) do damage to the infamous ambiance at OT!

Nevertheless i am planing a day-tripp (my first as you can read above) to OT this season (watching a game from the Stretford End, chanting and swearing my soul out, might stay a dream) and I sure won't behave like a tourist
