hey fellas, its Dhruv from New Delhi, India. Just a quick hi before I provide my resume!
United follower for 14 years now, since the tender age of 12... puberty and United coincided if I remember correctly... (yes I developed late)... but that time was all a blur due to the excitements of the above-mentioned changes I was going through.
Favorite player, right now and since the beginning of my UTD education has been Giggsy. But as over the years I've come across some videos of George Best performing like a ballerina, I've felt sorry for myself to not having been born at his time.
Cantona exemplifies the spirit of the our club - "we're nice guys, but don't act cheeky with us when we got other things to worry about" (read: Kung-fu)
I still think we should never have sold Becks, but then his love affair came to an end courtesy of a flying shoe. Jaap couldn't keep his trap shut, Yorkie couldn't keep his pants up, and Cole couldn't hit a cow from 2 yards out, but I love em all for the service they provided to our beloved club. Wouldn't have been possible without them. Teddy came to Manchester and won it all (including our hearts), and Ole scored the most memorable goal in recent memory, although that award might be a tie for first place with Giggsy's almost illegal run against Arsenal in the FA Cup semi.
Not too worried about Paul Scholes' eye problem, he's so good he can pretty much beat the opposition with his eyes closed.
Lastly, Chelski is top of my hate list.... and Jose Mourinho has done enough to be the exclusive member of my other hate list.
God Bless the Reds !
