Hello fellow Red Devils! My name is Ryan...but please call me Prof! Been Red fan since the mid '90's. I tell the story in a very long blog post, which can be found at gdprof27.blogspot.com/2006/07/glory-glory.html. I live in Gaithersburg, MD but watch all the United games at Flanagan's in Bethesda. It's great to meet you all...if you are in MD when United is playing, please stop by. I'll be the one in the Solskjaer shirt! I just finished reading David Meek's book about the Matt Busby era and I have to say that after finishing that book that Alex Stepney is my favorite player from the past....but I'm a former goalkeeper so I may be biased! One thing you wish you could tell Fergie? I wish I could tell him not to take Benfica lightly this Wednesday! Where did you hear about Republik of Mancunia forum? Welcome aboard Prof! Nice introduction, and glad to have a fellow countryman on the forum. I'm from NYC and go to Nevada Smiths to see the matches as it has great atmosphere, how's Flanagan's?

That being said, it's nothing like you get at Nevada's...that place is just insane! If I was still in NYC ( I was born in the Bronx) that is where I would go! |
