From Sky Sports:
"I am hoping to be selected," Brown told MUTV.
"I went to the last World Cup and it would be great to go again.
"But I recognise England have so many top quality defenders it will be hard for the coach to choose.
"I may get picked, I may not, in which case I will just enjoy my holiday.
"But I am fit at the moment. I just have to keep playing well in every game and then cross my fingers."
Surely Wes HAS to go. He's been incredible for United this season, and before injury, him and Rio had formed a brilliant partnership. He's great cover for right back too, so I'm sure he wont have any problems making the squad.
What do you reckon?

I think he could be as good as Rio if he gets a decent run of fitness and action. "Should he go to the world cup?".......he should deffinatly be in front of Campbell!

Campbell is dodgy, King is still injured, i think Super Wes has to be in the squad.

If Campbell goes to the WC ahead of Wesley, then the gay rumours about him will grow, and ones about Eriksson will start.

Bit of no-brainer this one, of course he should go! Even when all the options at CH are fit Wes is amongst the best. Problem is Wes is eighth in the list as far as that useless twat Eriksson is concerned:
1 John Terry 2 Rio Ferdinand 3 Sol Campbell 4 Ledley King 5 Jamie Carragher 6 Johnathon Woodgate 7 Mathew Upson 8 Wes Brown

Are you KIDDING?? You're putting Wes behind an injured King, Woodgate, and Upson? Have you not see Wes play this year? Him and Rio have been great.

Scott read my post again, CAREFULLY, in my opinion Wes is one of the most under rated players in Europe as I have mentioned before in another thread. Its that prick Eriksson who puts him so far down the pecking order

Definately. He's earned his place. He's been great for us this season.
