From Sky Sports:
"It was absolutely terrific," Ferguson stated to Sky Sports. "I enjoyed the game, the players enjoyed it.
"We've got second place, [going] directly into the Champions League, which is what we wanted anyway so it's been a satisfying day.
"Paul Scholes has been doing so well in training in the last two or three weeks, I felt it was essential, given the importance of the game, that, as a sub, he would be a good one if we needed him, he was going to be there.

i think everyone enjoyed the game today. i was very happy to see scholesy and ole on the bench for the match, for them both to get a run out today was brilliant both are legends. the game itself was magnificent enjoyed every second of it.

A truly great day for United. Last time we won the league it was with the points we got this season...and this year we've had several crucial injuries and the worst first XI in my lifetime. Really, really happy

Eh, a doubt for the World Cup, but he’s retired from international duty.
I was especially happy to see Scholes have a run out, a great player who I’ll be glad to see start in the first eleven again next season.
