83 points this season. Not bad in my opinion.
Does anyone know how many times this would have won the Premiership since it started?
I'm just wondering if this will put our league season into perspective.

Thanks for that Scott.
I know a few of the early seasons were over 42 games so overall I feel we have a good total for this season and we're not very far away from getting our trophy back.
Probably just need to cut out a few of the bad results against the Sunderland's of this world.

Nah, we'll always have them. Just need to start picking up 6 points from Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool ;D

Yeah I guess so.
A few too many 'if only we'd beaten them' this season for me!
But I do genuinely think that Fergie will make the right signings this summer and we will get it back next season (even without Ruud).

Glad to see I don't talk total rubbish Gatorade!
Like I said, we're not too far away and just need to strengthen the midfield and obviously if Ruud goes we will need another striker, even if it's only as backup for Wazza and Louis.

What I think will be most important to us next season is the crucial injuries.Obviously theres no way of preventing them, but I remember being confident at the start of this season but we've just been without far too many important players for huge chunks of the season. Remember when Richardson and Barsley were playing full back in the Prem because we had no one else??
The team we have now has enough fight in them to win the league if we avoid injuries, and so we can only be made stronger with additional signings.

Injuries aside, we need to put to bed teams we would have walked over a few years ago. We can’t be doing with 0 – 0’s against the like of Sunderland and Middlesbrough. It’s happening too many times and costing us valuable points, especially when other teams around us are catching up to us.
Standing up and being counted against the bigger teams, then being knocked down to reality from the smaller teams seems to be a habit of our recently. Lets hope next season is a different story.

Another good reply Scott.
Looking to the future I think Bardsley has loads of potential at right back and Richardson's performance today was excellent.
I can't really see Richardson breaking into the first XI consistently but he will be a great squad player to have in my opinion.
