Ah the Rio goal. Nah the Arsenal result. nah beating Chelsea. no, winning the league cup. shit I can't decide. The Neville celebration after the Rio goal was great. The Arsenal game was a cracker. But, I'll go with Darren the donk fletcher having what can only be described as a moment of autistic brilliance ala rain man to beat Chelsea, and to beat Mourinho for the first time!, but if Henry leaves Arsenal can I pick that?

Which was your best moment of the season? Had to be the rio goal...Last minute against the scousers...I was in the pub full of em(well not scousers.irish liverpool supporters)...I had to listen to all their comments about dominating us in our own back yard(which was actually true) then rio popped up...Im telling u i nearly got beaten up that day but it was worth it to see their faces..

All of those things were special. Finising 2nd is the most important but Rio's goal was just class. To hear Old Trafford roar when that goal went in was just immense.

Yeh you're right, finishing 2nd, and the Carling Cup for me, were two very important things of our season...but neither of them gave me that high. I think the Chelsea goal just edges it for me, just because I was there, and Old Trafford fuckin erupted. I havent seen it like that before. Although Rio's goal comes a close 2nd, and had I been at Old Trafford that day, it would have edged it for me. Watching footage that night on MOTD with Gary giving it to the scouse bastards, ha ha, exxxxxcellent.

The Rio goal was my happiest moment. The League Cup win just made me relieved that we've actually won something

Yeh, it was a nice day, and good to see us score so many goals....but a relief is definately right. We needed to leave the season with SOMETHING, but there was no sheer excitement or pleasure from winning it.

Has to be Rio's goal, just to score it against Liverpool alone and in the last minute...class!!!

thats a good question because its so damn hard to answer. rio's goal=class, and gary's celerbration.....what can ya say, worth everybit of that fine. scoring againt the chelsea was good although it was fletcher, but hell we beat the champions. its always good winning a cup, so theres no counting out that moment, and its always good to beat arsenal.
one of my favorite moment tho was ole coming back, i was in the pub and everyone just erupted singing ole chants, so it was a buzzing time.

I picked Rio scoring in the last minute of the game against Liverpool. What a magical moment that was. And there wasn’t anything at all wrong with Gary’s celebration, we see it week in week out and in most cases, it’s worse than what Gary did. Yet because he plays for united; its lime lightened, bloody ridiculous.
Although finished second was special, I couldn’t have imagined Liverpool taking it over us.

Rio easily bcuz i went fucking nuts when he scored running all thru the house. Gary's celebration fucking class i loved it. i don't see anything wrong wtih it seems like fowler and his holding up 5 fingers was the same, but that could just be my red tinted specs.

my second favourite was either: - burton albion (away) just coz it was a fun day out and ive rarely been to a ground so small with united, the fans on the terraces behind that goal were hilarious "lets all have a disco, lets all have a disco, na na na na" - west ham (away) again, good day out, very good performance after going 1-0 down so early. also the atmosphere was superb with united fans as always when you go away. plus, the bestie tributes at that game were class. -aston villa (away) this place is ALWAYS a good away trip, mainly because united take loads of fans and have a proper laugh behind the goal. this year's giggles were basedon 1 pissed up red stealing a stewards cap and getting chased around the united end! "he's over there, he's over there..." hahaha ahhh memories, roll on next season!

Gone for other;
Seeing Ole return / reserves winning treble with a selection of promising young talent ( Rossi, Campbell, Neumier, Jones, Pique among others)
reason;
Rio's goal was awesome, however for me it was tempered by the FA Cup debacle two weeks later, especially as my Saturday team mates are mainly plastic scousers and were lovin listening to the wankers on Radio City FM. The prick commentator on there actually said in reference to them twats supposedly clapping Smith off the pitch, " Look at the Liverpool fans clapping him off, a sign of true football fans, YOU JUST WOULDN'T GET THAT AT OLD TRAFFORD!" - cheeky fuckin scouse scum shit.
I just can't bring myself to be happy about anything involving etcher sketcher.
The arse game was great, but once again this season it essentially meant nothing
winning the joke a cola worthless cup against a bunch of egg chasers is nothing to shout about, although it was a good day out in Cardiff.
finishing 2nd?? are you kidding? winning is EVERYTHING, 2nd is NOWHERE!
