use United players as molds
Just got me thinking when looking at some of the Best United teams posted, does anybody know of a midfield that can even match this:-
Beckham Scholes Keano Giggs
Beckham - Workaholic dead ball specialist that can pick his man out with precision nailed on 40 yard crosses, big game player.
Scholes - Reads the game like a pop up book and has so much time on the ball under pressure, two signs of a QUALITY Centre Midfielder and always arrived on time in the box.
Keano - A leader with more than drive and determination a complete all rounder, best ball winner in the business with the knack to take control a game when it's up against you. A player AS big as the club, a living Legend.
Giggs - One of the most exciting players of my generation with the combination of speed and skill, hailed as one of Uniteds greatest ever players by Legends such as Best, Charlton & Law.
It has everything you require from a Midfield quartet and more, just look at the balance and how well they compliment each other just on paper, will we EVER see a midfield as good as this at United or any where in the World again?

Too attacking and Keane wasn't that good defensively. He was the best all-rounder and a terrific leader but not world-class at anything. One thing that your foursome has in common is that while they might not be completely past it, they are all decidedly past their best

Im talking about them in the their day and not present day Keane not World class at anything? Besides Claude Mc when at Madrid he's been possibly the Best Central midfielder in the World over the last ten years. If Viera was World class what did that make Keane?

I agree he was World Class player. What I am saying is that eg Beckham is a World Class 40 yard passer and crosser; McK is a World -class defensive midfielder. Keane was very good at everything but if you pick a best midfield, you pick the best defender, the best carrier etc. For a club in real life you can't afford that so you compromise. In fantasy football you don't. Perhaps Keane's main asset is a world class leader.

Lol thinking about it, it kindof would have been a travesty had we NOT won the Treble. A team as good as ours then DESERVED to win everything! lol. I can't believe we won the European Cup without Keane and Scholes though!
Keane was the best midfielder the Premiership has ever seen, and definately competing for on of the best England has ever seen. He could go without touching the ball all game, but his presence would still win us games! He shook up the opposition, made quality tackles, fouled when he needed to...in his prime he could hit the ball well and get in to good positions. He had it all.
