My choice would have to be Rooney. His overall team play, his attitude, skill, determination and individual brilliance has beamed through this season. And at such a young age too.

I think Gary has been superb this season at right back with the captains arm band! But of course its rooney i think gets it.

Rooney, might have been different were Ruud on form or should Heinze and Scholesy have been around, but he's carried us through the last stage of the season as well as contributing throughout the rest of it.
