If the arse do the unlikely and beat Barca ,our closest rivals would of ended up winning the trophys we should be fighting for.Winning the carling or reserve cup which it actually is has lowered the standards,evan back in the 80`s it was the F.A cup which was the only thing realistcally we could of got and the league cup would of been under achieving.I hope next season at this stage we would of learnt from the mistakes of this.Apart from the obvious hole in the midfield what else do we need to improve for us to do better in europe catch Chelski and not be fighting for 2nd spot with the scum?

I think next year will be a huge improvement this year, with the new signings and the returns of Heinze, Smithy and Scholesy. Definitley the best challenge to Chelski, and I'd put my money on United could win the league next year, and definitlely the Champions League after seeing how far L'Arse and Liverpool have gotten these past 2 seasons. After the last dissapointment in the Champions League I can't see it repeating.

I want us to get back to this air of invicability we had ,evan if we were loosing you always new we could score to win the game,Bruce last minute headers,being 2-0 down in Italy but still having the beleif to come back and win the game.Chelski have had it for the past 2 seasons ,its about confidence and i dont see that with the present situation.Getting players who are Man Utd is the only way forward,dont come to our club for the cash but play for us as if your life depended on it,i know it sounds like heavy shit but i want us to be hated again.....

This time next season I think United will be in a much better situation. We've still had the 2nd best season out of all Premiership clubs, but I want us to be having a better season next year. Whether that means winning the league or finishing closer to Chelsea. I want us to go further in Europe. I want us to win a trophy. And I think we can do those things.

The league will be hard again next season, I think we'll do better and I obviously want to win it, but I can't see us getting it, I think the season after like Ferguson predicted. What I do expect is a Good run in the Champions league, a cup final and a title race! I think they'll do that too!

Look around the world and tell me if you see 2 better under 21's than Ronaldo and Rooney ;D
Rooney has carried us through the end of this season and with a midfield next season he can do even greater wonders for us further up the pitch.
I can't think of any other team in the premiership that could have done as well as they have with their 2 main central midfielders out for half a season and playing 2 others out of position, providing our midfield is sorted, we almost caught Chelsea this season, next season can be great...
I think this world cup can be the making of Ronaldo, he can come back to us such a better player, along with Rooney should he make it and of course all the others.
It all hindges on SAF's midfield signings and the situation with Ruud.

regardless of where we are in the league or how many trophies we win...we (for now) will always be the biggest club in England!!! ask yourself this...when did Sky ever show, in 2 consecutive weeks, "the 50 greatest Liverpool goals"..."followed by 50 greatest goals scored against liverpool" ?!?!?! never!!! they did it for united  |
