Thought I'd post the squad list so you can see who's available should Juventus be relegated as they should be from the Italian Serie A:
Goalkeepers: Abbiati, Bonnefoi, Buffon
Defenders: Balzaretti, Birindelli, Cannavaro, Chiellini, Kovac, Pessotto, Thuram, Zambrotta, Zebina
Midfielders: Blasi, Camoranesi, Emerson, Giannichedda, Nedved, Olivera, Vieira
Strikers: Del Piero, Ibrahimovic, Mutu, Trezeguet, Zalayeta
No doubt Juve will get some punishment after the recent revelations, whether relegation or a particularly huge fine, either way they should have to let some of their starlets go. I post the Juve squad as they were the main culprits but by no means the only ones in Serie A. It wouldn't surprise me if many of the highly regarded players in the division would want to leave.
Personally should the correct punishments be carried out I'd swoop for Buffon straight away, solves the problem of when VDS retires as well as having to wait for Howard to mature more.
Possibly looking at Cameronesi and Emerson too. Any thoughts?

Definatly go for Buffon, Cameronesi would strengthen the midfield but Nedved is getting on - 32 i think.

Cant see them being relegated, the Mafia will lean on the Italian FA me thinks. The Mafia has connections all over Italians big teams so it doesnt surprise me when dodgy things come to light

As big of a fan I am of Nedved’s, he’s 34 in a few months. Now Buffon, I’d deffinatly sign him, at what, 28 a few months back, he’s got many years left.

Nedved is 32, but he's got another 4 years in him, and providing he would be cheap, why not? Definitley an excellent player.
Edit - 34? Nevermind

What about Fiorentina? They got relegaed and Juventus are a Northern Italian team too!
Go for Buffon and Chellini and Viera just to make him sit beside a statue of Roy Keane all day and just say, I'm not half the player you are.

I'm glad nobodies said Trezeguet so far I'm not an admierer of him and think he would struggle in the premiership. Ibrahimovich has struggled to score this season even when his team are cheating...

Just been talking to an Italian friend of myn who seem pretty dam sure now that Juve are heading for the drop and about to lose a lot of money through TV rights etc...
It could become a reality with some of these players heading to the premiership..

Buffon, Ibrahimovic, and Nedved (if only for one season) Trezeguet is wank. Camoranesi is a cunt. Don't know about Vieria, maybe because of the obvious problems we have in midfield.

Haha I was citing precident rather than mentioning another team we could harvest! Anyway there are two better and younger players at Fiorentina we should go for first.

Lol fuckin ell, they have an amazing squad dont they. So many household names in it. At this stage, I'd take whoever we could get! lol.
Is relegation from the league a possibility for them because of all this business? Or is that just speculation? I suppose my local team Altrincham got so many points deducted this season it meant they got relegated...so would a point deduction for all the games where they believe match fixing occured be on the cards?

Well it will all depend on how strong a message the Italian FA wants to send. It would be a shame if they get relegated but if a strong stance isn't taken then it leaves the door open for this to continue which would affect the integrity of the league and the sport.

After 4 different clubs have been bribing referees and the club who win the division have done so they have to make a big example of the club or i'm sure Fifa or Uefa will step in. If its a mere points deduction which is imposed, then the likelyhood is that will come with a substancial fine, and with most authoritative figures resigning along with the entire board, there will definately be financial implications.... It was also revealed Buffon has been involved in some betting scandals where he placed bets on Juve' winning then ref's were bribed to make sure of this. Whatever happens i think its garunteed they will not be in the Champs league next season, if not relagated then seriously lacking in funds and most likely out of europe.
