He will get a chance, not just pre-season or carling cup i'm hoping but also in the league occasionally.

Yeh this fella has impressed me. He definately will get pre-season and Carling Cup this year...but I dont know about the Premiership. If we sign someone else, then potentially we'd have Scholes, Smith, Giggs, O'Shea who in my opinion, all come above Jones, at the moment.

I did open up a thread on Jonesy.
I agree yeah he's up there with Rossi and Piqué talent-wise so I don't see why this season shouldn't bring him opportunities.

O'Shea is a quality player but not as good as Jonesy in the middle of the park, he's a defender. Remember night's like Real Madrid, although we conceded 3 - it was Ronaldo in top form after all..Sheasy proved he has what it takes.
Sheasy is a defender.
Giggs and Richardson are wingers so therefore Jonesy should be ahead of them in the cue for places in the centre of midfield, as someone said he is behind Giggsy and Richardson.

And Richardson is not a central midfielder. |

Been watchin the reserves game against Bolton on MUTV earlier today. They won it 5 -0. Jones played at centre half and could only be described as IMMENSE. This lad looks a real gem, he Nuemeir, Pique and Rossi should definately make the grade as the next group of great young players to come through the Old Trafford ranks.
