From Sky Sports:
Lyn Oslo have refused to comment on reports linking John Obi Mikel with a move to Chelsea.
The highly-rated 19-year-old, who switched to Oslo on loan following his move to Manchester United last year, has impressed in Norway and is widely tipped for stardom.
Speculation in Mikel's homeland of Nigeria has suggested that Chelsea have reached an agreement with United, but Oslo director Morgan Andersen has questioned whether there is any truth in the rumours.
He is more concerned with settling the long-running saga with Manchester United, who Mikel claims duped him into joining from Lyn.
Andersen would like to keep Mikel for as long as possible, but insists that his club is in the dark on the player's future.
"No comment," Andersen said on the Chelsea reports.
"This issue might be resolved in two days or two years. We are practically the only ones who have tried to solve this issue."
I read on Rant that by the earliest time Mikel can play domestic football again, he wont have played for 16 months! This situation has been dealt with SO badly.

Yeah I agree, so badly. All what was needed by FIFA was to uphold the contract that he willingly signed with us (I didnt see a gun to his head?) and this would of been avoided. Hes 18 for christ sake he knows what he signed hes not a little child! Now I couldnt give a rats ass about him. Let him rott!

With trying to appeal, it really could take more than a year for this to get resolved, by which point he'll be shite. I just want it sorted now so we can get a decent amount of money for him from Chelsea!
