Id rather have eleven Darren Fletchers then eleven Obi Mikels #furious# Then we'd get relegated twice.... Imagine it, 11 players running around the pitch on the periphery of games, not really managing to get a touch or put their foot on the ball, and only really succeed at looking utterly gormless...

No, Diarra wants to go to Sunderland along with Ruud, Adu, and Drogba as they have been enticed by the prospect of working with the great Graeme Souness who is on a mission to make Sunderland the wonder team of the championship.

United close in on Diarra Manchester United remain confident of signing Mahamadou Diarra, the Lyons midfield player, despite reports that the 25-year-old has opted to join Real Madrid. Diarra’s agent, Frédéric Guerra, maintained yesterday that the player’s future remained undecided, while United are hoping to exploit the instability at Real by securing a deal sooner rather than later. Real’s transfer activity is on hold pending the outcome of their presidential election on July 2, by which time Ruud van Nistelrooy, the United forward, hopes that he will be on the Spanish club’s radar. The Holland forward, who is out of favour at Old Trafford, has attracted interest from Inter Milan, the Serie A club, but he would prefer to join Real or Barcelona in the Spanish league. ------------------------ So who we trusting, Sa, the mirror, the agent or the times ? Take your pick.

I saw on Sky Sports News that no contract negotiations or talks have been held with united or real. (Screams) what’s going on?!

I've said this before, you can't expect us to go rushing into transfers. We have no room for mistake due to the situation with transfer funds and debts at the club. Therefore, we have to work hard to get the best deal for US, the club. Trying not to get fobbed off by the agents and the clubs, that will take a while negotiating.

Yawn. That’s how I and the majority of the fans feel. No one recalls saying rush in to transfers, but this is a bloody nightmare. We want players before the World Cup to be honest, otherwise it’s going to take longer and prices will rocket, not to mention the likes of Chelsea will raid in on who ever we like the look of.
