From Sky Sports:
"I spoke to Sir Alex Ferguson and we had a really good conversation," said Eriksson.
"Despite all the speculation, there has been a very positive dialogue with Manchester United all along.
"There is not a row between England and Manchester United."
"I talked to Ferguson two days after the injury. We agreed on things then and nothing has changed since then.
"We are very grateful for the support United have given Wayne and the England team.
"There is no problem at all between England and Man United. The problem is Wayne Rooney has a bad foot."
Rooney will meet up with the rest of England's squad this weekend as they prepare for Tuesday's warm-up clash with Hungary at Old Trafford.
"We are still hoping the second scan will show further improvement and Wayne can play his part in the World Cup," Eriksson added.
"But I'm looking forward to Wayne joining up with the rest of the squad on Sunday.
"The fact that he is flying out to Germany with us will give everyone a huge lift."

With Alex’s tough attitude and Sven’s stubbornness’, it didn’t surprise me that there were rumours of a rift between the two. Although with the Media always blowing everything out of proportion, I choose not to believe anything anymore unless I see the party actually come out and say these things, on camera. I hope there isn’t a rift between the two, or wasn’t a rift. I don’t want the united players being tangled up in it all as we need to be fully focused for next season.
