16/09/06 - Arsenal (h) 21/10/06 - Liverpool (h) 25/11/06 - Chelsea (h) 09/12/06 - Manchester City (h) 20/01/07 - Arsenal (a) 03/03/07 - Liverpool (a) 14/04/07 - Chelsea (a) 05/05/07 - Manchester City (a) We play all our rivals in the same order in each half of the season and they are all away in the 2nd half.Added to that we play a rival almost every month of the campaign.Sometimes it helps to have a couple hard months and some easy ones. Maybe i am studying this 2 hard, what do you guys think??

I think it's an interesting observation, but I dont think they're fixed. There are just coincidences in life sometimes. I'd prefer them spread out like this, rather than playing a couple of rivals in the space of a month. Gives us more time to work ourselves back up again

Shame they're all home in the first half of the season... its always cool towards the end of the season if there's a bit of a chase on to play them at home and make they're lives miserable! Never mind, like you say gotta play em all at some point!

Lets be honest we always usually have crap starting halves of seasons, although our away form was better last season than home, our home form against our rivals is much better than away.
So if you look at it like this we have the opportunity to get a great start to the season then when we really get going as is usual in the 2nd half of the season it gives us an even better chance away.

We got Tottenham last day 3 out of 4 seasons a few years back. The first few fixtures don;t seem bad.

if we pick up 28 points in our first 10 games we should win it That's not too much to ask for is it? Only dropping 2 points in 10 games?
