The Torres comment by Fergie is very interesting. Is he making a point that Real Madrid couldn't afford Ronaldo or Torres  If Torres buyout clause is 46.6 Mill Euro then no wonder Fergie has scoffed at the suggestion of them signing him, at that price only the Chavs could afford him |

Probably just suggesting the absurdity of the link. Torres born and bred Atletico going to Real! It would be suicidal of the Atletico president.

I was thinking the same about Torres. Could Fergie have a deal with Atletico for him and therefore it be impossible for a candidate of Real Madrid's presidency to have a deal with him?...as it is though I told everyone already there is nothing to worry about with Cris!
