This won't be very constructive as all I have to say is very well written, and agree with all your points. I have a tendency to favour defenderts as my favourite players, so obviously Gary is one of my all time favourites!

He's never really spoken to my knowledge of what age he will play to, but the way he plays i can see him going on at least for 3 o4 4 years, basically until Fergie doesn't need him or injury or fitness takes a hold..
He doesn't sprint up and down the right wing, he does what he needs to, if he's needed forward he'll be there and then back again.
As for the England captain theres no doubt he has the required experience and the character, Steve Mclaren should know this better than most, but long term i still think it will go to John Terry, he has time to learn at Chelsea with his age and can bring it to England.

I'm proud to have him as our captain, there's no one better in our team, who represents our club like he does. His passion and work ethic is second to none at the moment, from what I've read from previous interviews. If McClaren has any sense, he'll make Gary captain, though unfortunately it'll probably go to Terry.

Another good read. Great player at most teams fans have one or two favourite players, but for United we're spoilt for choice. Best, Law, Charlton, Scholes, Giggs, Keane, Beckham, Ronaldo, Van Nistelrooy, Neville, Rooney...the list is endless. |
