Sorry I can't be bothered to look up the correct spelling but what the hell is going on? Is he supposed to be coming in doing a CQ role and if he is do you think another 60 odd year old is the way forward?

Yeah I think so, he's 58 Fergie's 64 (I think) He said he wants to come to utd and wouldn't mind playing second fiddle to Fergie as both of them are friends and Fergie has a huge respect for him. I think it would be gret to see him come in and eventually take over, he's a proven coach!

He's a proven coach but, as with most of the problems united have, we are failing to find a long tern solution.

I'm not to worried. I think he'd be good for another 5 years, that's a long time compared to most clubs. Your not going to get another Fergie I don't think so anyway, but this guy is a very hard character quite simliar to Ferguson. And if it gives time for Hughes or Keane to prove themsleves utd quality then it woule be perfect.

From Sky Sports:
"There is no truth in the story about Lippi coming to Old Trafford," read a statement on the club's website.
"We are happy with our coaching set-up."
