Its hit me (several times) That our scouts are not up to much, We sign people sometimes who to be honest are crap lol when we could have unearthed better, I think we need to learn a lesson from Spurs, Carrick 3 mill Lennon 1 mill Robbo (cant remember but im sure it was cheap) Other English talent like Joe Cole, Lampard  OK maybe not fat Frank, have all gone to clubs and passed us, We dont need to be looking at the WC players and Africa and all that lot to get talent, theres alot of it here and to be had cheap if you get the scouts in and get them, Reo Coker is another one, but im sure someone will sign him, he will become hot property and we will have missed him aswell Does anyone else agree that we are missing players and then paying a fortune for who we need We should have signed Carrick before for 3 mill, we knew Scholes and Keane were getting on adn someone would be needed, but we didnt and what frustrates me is, why? |

The problem we have, is has soon as United express an interest, the value of a player doubles.
So Carrick would have been 6 million (still cheap but.....)
Anyway, you get the point.
I think every club in the Premier League are scared of selling us anyone on the cheap, in case we make a world beater out of them...
Cantona for 1 million anybody....

Remember we are still recovering from Kenyon's knowledge of scouted players.
Robben, Essien and Obi Mikel were on out scouted shopping list.
At the time these players where not well known at all, when Kenyon left he took all our targets and gave them to Chelsea.
But you're right, the scouts need to pull there fingers out!!

Its just frustrating, but well get there I think Fergie relies on our yuth system over say buying Lennon from Leeds system, I cant wait to see Chavski fall

Our scouts have found Obi Mikel, Robben, Piqué, Rossi, Essien, Muntari, etc in that time frame the only problem is Chelsea or work permits have disabled us from signing 4 of the 6 mentioned!

Yea i know but it isnt really good enough, we should have some system for fiding home youth, like now with Carrick, could have got him before but we didnt and now were going to pay a huge fee, we wont get Lennon but if we were to, it will be a huge fee, could have got the pair for under 5 mill

Personally Ive only ever seen Essien have 1 good game and that was for Ghana, I was pleased we didn't sign him from what Ive seen of him at the Chavs i was a big fan of essien joining united... i think he really shines in 4-4-2 |
