Personally i think it will be in the July 26-31 range after the south africa tour; I believe Sir Alex would like to be there (jn England)....And I believe that it will be Carrick for approx 14 mill

I reckon we will only make one massive signing and it will be just before the window closes, so well start off the season with no new signings and then surprise everyone, like we did with rooney.

One signings not enough. Not enough for the team to improve and not enough to appease the fans either. I think Spus have come back to us with a valuation of 16 odd million for Carrick and I think we've agreed in principle but Fergie's waiting to see what happens with the Italian clubs first. And I have a good feeling about Torres aswell, that rumour seems quite persistant!

I recon we can't wait too late to sign players, they need to get use to the team and out style of play, especially with midifelders. A striker would just add to the players we need. If Ruud stays i will be ecstatic, if he tries that its. If he leaves, i would rather another Ruud like player, eg Huntelaar.

No more guessing for me either, but I would certainly like to see some signings for our midfield and Torres if Ruud leaves. I'm just going to sit back and trust Fergie's decisions and if we don't have major signings then I'm going to support our lads all the way because they'll need all the support we can give them!

actually if it wasnt for the match fixing scandal i think we'd have done some business by now.
i think we'll start doing things now with the clubs we want players from and then when SAF gets back from SA then we will be talking to the players themselves. i cant see SAF signing someone without talking to them face to face because he is always talking about the attitude of the player

We will make signings that's one thing when they come I don't care, but the sooner the better. With Ruud's imminent departure we now need two midfielders and a striker. Carrick appears to be wrapped up so Torres and Gattuso would do nicely!
