or will it be another?
Ive only put Park in cos it's the player I want doin that job next season, could be Giggs or Richardson Im just looking at the shape for the time being also could push Ronny up front with Rooney.
Park--------Scholes---------Carrick--------Giggs/Richardson
The good thing being in gettin Carrick and Scholes back we've so many different options available to us and it's very exciting to know that with two players like Carrick and Scholes in the team they don't give the ball away and therefore we should be dictating and dominating games next season.

I reckon as it tands before any new signings, Sir Alex will pick Ronny - Carrick - Scholes - Giggs, rotating with Richardson and Park in there too. Scholes posibly playing just behind the strikers. Well that's the lineup he will play has he been reading my letters at least  |

We'll we're playing Fuhlam and Fergie allways puts out a very attacking team against them coz they like to have a go unlike most teams.
Ronaldo..Carrick..Scholes...Giggs. Don't think you can argue with that midfield!

I think if Saha gets injured we could revert to Neds last option with perhaps giving Ronny the free role
It will be better to judge though once weve made more signings we will have a better picture of the squad
Dont forget Fletchers aswell ay guys..............

This would let rooney have a free role (a bit like henry) with heinze getting round the back of rooney and putting crosses in.

Yeah me too. Dont know how much Rooney would like being out wide though.
Yes , I know he'd play anywhere......and a free role would suit him.
I keep wondering if Rooney would be best playing the typical Scholes role with a DM behind him.
Coming from a deep position and running at defenses.
What we really need is a totally fluid set up where all the players have free movement within the formation ( total football ). I think were pretty damn close to it already ( at times ).

I dont think its a matter of dropping Giggs but Giggs dropping himself I cant see him performing for 30+ games for all 90 minutes, steps need to be taken to take the transition for after Scholes and Giggs and not be left buggard like we have been with Keane

Nice ideas - but I think 4-4-2 or 4-1-3-1-
Saha & Rooney
Giggs - Scholes - Carrick - Ronaldo.
Heinze - Rio - Wes - Nev (C) - VDS
Roo to drop in behind Saha, Carrick to play behind Scholes and bring support when attacking.
There are 5 known goal scorers in this set-up - Heinze & Carrick can score too!
Only thing for me is strength in depth - we seem to be getting back to the 2 for each place - we need it for the long haul this season - how else can we do the treble again in season 2006/07 - lol!

Id like to see Scholes, Carrick and Senna/Mascherano(pretty please) in the one midfield, it would be awesomely strong. But it would all depend on whether or not Rooney and Ronaldo could reach full potential playing this formation. |
