Must win game, massive fucking game as i cant see stinkpoo loosing there last game. This really will sum our season up ive been disappinted this time round ,times we have played some killer football but the spark has not been there. We have to beat Charlton as i see this as just as important as winning the tin pot cup earlier on in the season, letting the vermin pip us for 2nd spot is a fucking nightmare .Cant see us loosing going for a 2-0 anybody can score 2 own goals for this game will do me.....Whats your take on how important this game is?

Perhaps not lose, but certainly draw. #doh#

I think the Boro result should serve as a big wake up call. If we cant beat Charlton at home, then we dont deserve to come 2nd. I think we should pull our finger out though. If Pompey get a point or more from Liverpool though, it wont matter either way.

i'm not sure about lose definately draw if we play like our last two matches. i also think pompey will get a point off the scousers ,but i'd like to see the lads end the season with a win.

It's possible to lose, but unlikely...a draw will probably be the worst case scenario. Our form against Boro was dreadful and the missed penalty was the knockout punch.

A bit obvious, but I'd be a lot happier if Rooney was playing. We may well need someone in there who's not prepared to let the game drift into a 0-0 draw if we lack some edge. If we get bogged down like we did in the Boro game, we don't have anyone in midfield or up front who's going to kick some arses. Having said that, we'll be the only team out there who has anything to play for, and Curbs isn't exactly going out in a blaze of glory - he just looks like he can't be arsed, so I think it'll be a comfortable 3-0. The money-men know that there's a bit more riding on 2nd place this year - a money-spinning little tour when the qualifiers are being played, and even the thought of not getting into the competition will make the Glazers and Fergie a bit edgy. An end of season 3-0 party, trust me

We have to win the big games and this is a fucking massive one. So much depends on 2nd or 3rd. Charlton tend to give up in the second half of the season so we should be looking at a win. But its Curbishly's last game and he'll want to go out on a high. In a way i'm pissed off that we've left it so late. 2nd spot could have been guaranteed by winning the last two games then we wouldn't be in this predicament.
I think Portsmouth and Liverpool will be a draw.

Don't worry, mate - it wouldn't be United it we didn't leave it until the fat lady was warming up. Trust me, 3-0. Sit back and enjoy.

I know I'm not going to be the only one at Old Trafford tomorrow with a radio in my ear listening out for the Liverpool result lol. For pride's sake, I want us to get a good win, end the season on a bang. I was disgraced at the people walking past me to get out of the ground last season before our lap of honour against Chelsea... we dont want a repeat of that.
