I think that could be Ruud's final nail in the coffin if Rossi starts ahead of him. I think we have to be sensible and start Ruud and Saha, and see how we're getting on just after half time.

So Ruud gets to play even though hes shocking? He really needs a kick up the backside. We need to start our best players yes, but our on form players will proform better than out off form players. Ruud is not on form, Rossi has been doing wonders in the reserves. SURELY he deserves a start? |

There's a difference between the reserves and the league though. Ole just scored for the reserves this week, should we be starting him?
If Rossi had made a few sub appearances for the first team over the past month, I'd agree with you, but I think we'd be throwing him in at the deep end to give him a start today.

No Ruud in squad, Rossi starting, and Scholes on the bench. WTF!!! is happening?  Looks like Ruud is gone.  Puts a lot of unnecessary pressure on Rossi to perform. |
