What about Vidic and Wes. Should we sell them? Gaby was shite at centre back in the world cup shoulda been sent off on more than one occasion and wasnt. Rio and Wes/Vidic being rotated beside him will be great this season heinze shouldnt get near centre back If Heinze was shite at the World Cup(and he wasn't) don't you think that might have had something to do with the fact that he had just returned from almost 9 months injured and not because he played in a different position? Anyway this all started we some of us were praising Evra. I'm happy for the guy. I think he's had a lot of stick since joining and it's looking he could be a great asset for us. A good preseason seems to have made all the difference to him. |

Gaby wasnt shite at the world cup, he had been out for basically 1 and a half seasons and that was his first competative match in 9 months, he did brilliant under the circumstances!

So are both of you saying that you've seen Heinze play well enough at centre back to warrant getting started there instead of Wes Brown and Nemanja Vidic? And you've seen enough of Evra to start him at left back in the premiership where he got torn apart last season? Vidic will be super at the back this season so there's no need to move Gaby in

In fairness Ole's a Liverpool fan but nobodys ever questioned his commitment. But there's definitely reasons for both of them playing its gonna be tough for Fergie to choose

WES is a CITEH fan.
You can't select someone because of how long they've been at the club. I think Brown should start but it's not a valid reason to say he should because he's a true Red. I'm not unhappy with a Rio/Vida combo as I wouldn't be with a Rio/Wes one although on opening day it might be Rio/Wes because Vida is recovering from an injury.

Ole was a Liverpool fan in his younger days?..in all honesty, that's totally irrelevant Two of Liverpool's greatest ever goalscorers, Robbie Fowler and Michael Owen are/were Everton fans..do we think that it mattered to Liverpool fans..no. There are countless Premiership players who have a fondess for other clubs. I've heard this mentioned a few times about Solksjaer before, but why his name comes up all the time, is beyond me? |
