I think he will start Ronaldo up front in Rooney's position.
VDS Neville - Rio - Brown - Evra Park - O'Shea - Giggs - Richardson Ronaldo - Saha

I would really like to see D.Jones get a run. He's worked extremely hard to get into the first team, and I think he deserves an opportunity to start. I know its risky considering we have to get off to a good start this year, but I think he might shine when given an opportunity.
VDS
Nev Rio Brown Evra
Ron O'Shea D.Jones Giggs
Saha Rossi

At some point you'd wanna see Ole go out wide and Ronaldo playing alongside Saha!

Id give Evra another run out, I think it'll help his confidence, Im not convinced on him yet thats why I want to see a little more of him and Id rather it was at home he's tried out or against the lower teams, ie Watford and the likes, deserves his place I think in the next game. Id be happy with the rest although im in limbo over Rossi n Ole. Id start with Rossi n Saha and bring Ole on later in the 2nd half. Well I think Charlton are not to be underestimated, they will see our suspensions as an opportunity to get something out of the game. We still have some injury worries as well but here's the side I would like to see play:
VDS
Neville Brown Ferdinand Evra(Heinze if fit)
Park O'Shea(Smith or Carrick if fit) Giggs Richardson
Saha Ronaldo

We can say it's easy when we've won...

Iain Dowie is no master tactition by any stretch of the imagination - He's a motivator at best - should be no match for Fergie. Wouldn't expect Charlton to finish in the top 10 this year - so 3pts is an absolute MUST ! I will be expecting a comfortable 3 - 0 win. Saha looks hungry for goals and these sort of games are the ones that suit his style.

I absolutely agree, we have to show that we can beat these sort of teams not just on paper but on the pitch as well. As long as the display is as vibrant as on Sunday there should be no problem at all.

Doubting anyone who started for the researves last night is likely to start on Wednesday aside from Rossi. What happend to Nev on Sunday anyone? Just wondering if he's actually fit and ok for Wednesday after being subbed. Goes for Heinze too, while we miss Rooney and Scholes, could do with his bite down the left. ;D If so:
VDS
Nev---Rio---Brown----Evra
Ronaldo---O'Shea---Giggs---Park
Saha---Rossi
Not convinced Ole' is ready to start yet, Rossi thrives on playing where Rooney does and dropping deep, it should be his opportunity and there won't be many others in the league..
