Can we play worse than this? only Ronaldo (except the last few minutes) has looked like he's not out of his depth so far, the others....  I'll be surprised if we finish with ten men at this rate. |

I'm fucking angry right now! All this bullshit talk in the paper about revenge on benfica "ohh watch out Benfica, we're coming after you" bollocks, what a complete shambles so far. Every player exept for Ronaldo has been a let down, they just don't know what they're doing.

Well, my man of the match so far has to be JOHN O'SHEA. He's being overcrowded in the middle of the park there and he's stood his ground.
I think this formation is best used at home when we are the ones who are going to be bringing the game to the defence, then we'll see as we did versus Fulham that Rooney, Ronaldo, Scholes & Saha will start switching around a lot more and that the fact Rooney is out on the left will not matter much.
We need to switch it to 4-4-2 or a more usual 4-4-1-1, getting Rooney & Saha back into the game and playing how we like to play. I still think we can win this game but we do need to change it around a bit more.
Funny moment was when the commentator said "What will McLaren think of Rooney playing out wide?"...my immediate reaction was "WHO GIVES TWO FUCKS?"...UNITED > ENGLAND!
These Benfica players are disgraceful the simulation, diving whatever has been disgusting. It's not nice to see, even Ronaldo had to tell a few to stop diving.
