United are on the back of an easy win over Liverpool on the weekend, while Bolton came out of their away trip with Blackburn a little worse for wear. They have Nolan (Suspended) and Quinton Fortune (Groin) out with Anelka and Diouf facing late fitness tests. Either way they will still be difficult to beat on their own patch, they are yet to concede at home in the league. I still feel with their injuries and suspensions United will have too much for them. Prediction: 2-1 United; Saha & ScholesMy Starting Line Up:Van Der Sar
Neville - Ferdinand - Vidic - Evra
Ronaldo - Scholes - Carrick - Giggs
Rooney - Saha Although Heinzé returned versus Crewe he didn't look too good so I wouldn't risk him. I think we need to play our strongest side to win this match too, my reason for that team. Although I wouldn't mind Wes getting a start.

Thank god Nolan is suspended. But i hope the boys are ready, going to be a tough game, as long as they keep the ball on the deck and keep it moving we should be able to ease into another gear and a higher tempo and make things difficult.
But Big Sams team are neve easy to play, I just hope the lads can use the youth of Carrick, Ronaldo and Rooney, and of course Ronaldo skill to a great advantage and capitalise.
Should make for a good game, cant wait ;D

After last weekend, does anyone think Fletcher deserves another start?
Especially in a game versus Bolton where you must work hard. No doubt ADZ's team is the strongest possible with those fit, and Fergie wants to give a few people a runout in the champions league next week, thanks to the point gap.
It must be tough for Fergie to drop Fletcher, he worked hard for his place against Liverpool. Wouldn't surpise me if he did start and either Ronnie or Giggs were benched for the start.

Start with your best eleven, simple. Giggs and Ronaldo on the wings, bombing it towards Bolton’s rather slow back line. They’d be terrified. We need to attack them otherwise their strong physical presence could pinch it on a corner or a free kick. Put out our strongest side, knock in a few goals then rest a few players. I originally said 1 – 1, so I’ll stick with that until I know the team line ups.

Bolton are one of those teams who really scare me, I always look forward to them taking points off arsenal but never so happy when it comes to us playing them. They always seem to pull something out of the bag when they play bigger sides. Plus they have a great home record this season so far.. just hope we can break it!

As every match this is a must win, nothing but three points will be accectable. Would be really nice to see Rooney finally getting a goal... I'm not doing any predictions though, I'll jinx us if I do

i'm always nervous abt playing bolton. you never know what can happen with this side. really happy nolan's not playing. i say put the strongest team out and bomb them from the start! and in the meantime pray that sheffield take some points off chelski (not likely but CMON SHEFFIELD!!!) and everton scalp arsenal. not going to jinx anything with a prediction, just hoping for the best. c'mon united.

I hope Rooney keeps his first class performance up (like he did against Copenhagen, Wigan and Liverpool) more than i would hope him to score. IMO Rooney is playing his best football whether he is scoring or not. He fought every inch of Wigans half a fortnight ago, i hope he can do the same come 3pm Saturday at the Reebok.

This is without a doubt our toughest test so far. I just keep my fingers crossed we get the first goal, because it it goes to Bolton, they'll set up camp in their own half and they'll be hard to break down.
Looking better with Ronaldo being back though...when you look at the attacking options we have through Giggs, Ronaldo, Scholes, Saha and Rooney, you'd like to think we could bag a goal or two.

Fletcher's played well but I really think we should go with our strongest team possible. I agree with everyone about starting off strong and getting a goal so Bolton don't settle down and slow the tempo. I like Bolton when they play everyone but us, though I still think we can get the win though and without Nolan there we have just a little less to worry about. I'm hoping Ronaldo and Giggs will run the defense ragged early on.

Fergie has said the only change from the Liverpool game will be the introduction of Cristiano after his return from injury (none of the players involved versus Crewe will be in the XI), that means either Giggs, Carrick or Fletcher will be dropped.
Fletcher has been great, but I feel for this fixture we need our strongest midfield out there and although Fletcher is a great backup player, great player to have on the bench he isn't better than Giggs or Ronaldo.
Of course if Fergie wants a battler in the midfield he could drop Carrick, bring Ronaldo in on the right and Fletcher alongside Scholes.
Atleast one thing is for certain Fletcher is giving Fergie some selection problems and that's always healthy at the club, and something many fans have doubted. (I've always been certain the lad would come good).

Hooorahh for Ronnie I think we missed him against Crewe but hopefully he will be sharper than ever Ive got a feeling it will be Fletcher who will be dropped. I cannot see SAF dropping Giggs or Carrick. The best is yet to come from Carrick, and playing him against Bolton could spur him on to bring out the best in him. Also Ronnie and Giggs are a must on their wings respectively. So my feeling is Fletcher will start on the bench Giggs on the left, Scholes attacking the middle, Carrick standing off in a defensive midfield role and Ronnie bursting down the right and switching positions with Giggs every now and then. Thats my theory xD
