The fans were superb, our away support always is though.
I saw one of the Portugal flags on the TV, the one I saw was on the front row.
A third of the way (ish) through the Premier League season and we're top of the table, three points clear. It's a nice feeling, how long has it been since would could sing "WE SHALL NOT BE MOVED!"?

Blackburn always cause use a few problems, last season they beat us twice home and away,but we got the better of them in the semi-finals of the carling cup. Let's hope the team are all up for this, because with Friedel and Pedersen (who always both seem to play well against us ) both fit, we have to give it our all. I'd predict a very tough game , maybe a 1-0 to United. As for Chelsea they're playing Watford tomorrow and not Aston Villa. They already played Villa this season twice and drew once and beat them once. So let's hope Watford can do us a favor at stamford bridge ( if that happens then i'll shave my head tomorrow night ). _________________________________________________ I predicted this .. and im not gonna shave my head ( duh ) , so i guess Mourinho won't be receiving any wigs from me ..

i think chelsea were trying to close the goal diff gap between us and them with that 4-0 mauling so that IF they beat us on the 26th they'd have a better chance of catching us (tho its still 7 which is quite big at the moment) so i hope we KILL sheffield united with 3 or 4 goals next weekend. that said, good performance in horrendous weather conditions yesterday. when rooney missed his 3rd shot i wondered if it was gonna be one of THOSE days, but giggs and saha helped us out. i thought oshea did well for the 45 minutes that he was on.we could have had much more but still 3 pts and a clean sheet is good enuf. ronaldo made some fantastic runs down the wing. defence was a bit suspect at one pt towards the end but other than that rio and vidic did great.scholes ran the entire show as usual. ref should have given himself a red card but in the end we won without his help so who cares. the fans sounded great as well. well done united.

I went to the game and I thought our support was as usual fantastic. I got the train back to Manchester, and on the platform at Blackburn some joker made a bonfire on the platform with newspapers, and everyone was singing build a bonfire, build a bonfire, put the scousers on the top, etc. LOL When we got off at Manchester I was amazed at how many fans had packed on a small train lol.

ok so i just finished watchin the game...yeah i missed it n dosed right through it!...what an idiot!..but i was luck to find it being replayed on some channel in east asia n streamed it right off....man i was so happy to see saha score...it was frustrating to see us take the ball to the hole everytime n not be able to deliver...but the atmosphere was fantastic specially cuz it was an away game...even though i knew the result before hand, the excitement was addictive...man i wish i hadnt missed it earlier...it was a very satisfying though, i wished we scored more...but i'd take the 3 points anyday!! Great game!! Just loved it!!

No point worrying about goal difference at this stage in the league, it's all about points. When people start getting loads of injuries, on bad runs of form, looking at going down that's when we get the goals.
On the other hand we've had twelve games thus far and have scored a lot of goals.
No Goals - Arsenal (H) One Goal - Tottenham (H), Reading (A), Blackburn (A) Two Goals - Watford (A), Newcastle (H), Liverpool (H) Three Goals - Charlton (A), Wigan (A), Portsmouth (H) Four Goals - Bolton (A) Five Goals - Fulham (H)
TOTAL - 12 Games = 27 Goals
Conceded = 5
And, we haven't conceded more than one goal in any game.
Apart from the Arsenal and maybe, Reading fixture we can be happy with how many we are conceding and scoring thus far this season.
