Mikey cost us the clean sheet, but really. I don't care!
Chelsea drew, and Untied won in style. It's a good day! =)

It's a good day! =) but van der sar looked gutted after the penalty, i think he really wanted the clean sheet. anyway very good day, ronaldo is truly sparkling right now, and it just wasnt rooney's day, he came so close so many times. im a bit upset bcuz i would've been there we had tickets but my dad is ill so we didn't go.

shame about the late penalty but nothing to complain about today, united win, chelsea draw and liverpool lose, all's good with the world ;D
Ronaldo really is superb, sensational impact he made today and at this rate he'll be our top scorer come the end of the season.

I don't think it was a penalty I think he touched the ball and the player went down rather than brought down, I'd have to see it again though. Never mind, we won 3-1 and it's a great result considering Chelsea's draw earlier on in the day.
The player's drafted in such as Brown, Sheasy, Fletch, Mikky, Richardson, Solskjaer and Park played well and Park looked more like his old self. Brown stood out of that bunch for me and continued the traditions of Neville by going down the line and helping out Fletcher/Ronaldo on that side.
The introduction of Ronaldo was great though, within five minutes he scored two goals. He is great for United but I do feel he should score more headers from corners for United as he does for Portugal but he's great anyway, the match winner.
Ole showed his clinical finishing and Rooney played well without scoring, despite hitting the bar..he deserved a goal.
And, now Mourinho is moaning about injury problems on Gillette Soccer Special..haha.

For me it was a fair penalty, Silvestre was clumsy. Ronaldo superb, isn't that his 5th goal in 6 games? Next a hatrick? ;D

Didn't think it was a penalty either, looked like he got a touch, it's a shame because from that angle he wouldn't have scored anyway probably.. Can't pick out one bad player today, Brown and Evra were brilliant, Park got another 90 minutes and had his moments, we got away with another 3 points having rested a large amount of first teamers! ;D Thats probably the most satisfying part.

Great stuff. First half we controlled, created chances, but just couldnt seem to find the goal. Ronaldo comes on and scores 2 goals in the first 5 minutes! lol. Says it all, the lad is on fire at the moment, well, has been all season. Glad to see Ole get on the scoresheet too. Their goal was a strange one... the board with 1 minute had already gone up, getting ready to leave, and then the ref is pointing to the spot lol. Rooney is still a mile off the mark though. It's all fine and well for games against Villa and Wigan, but we need him on his game for our up coming away games!
What a difference a week makes eh?
No Saha, no Ronaldo for 45 minutes, no Giggs, no Gary Neville, no Rio Ferdinand. As we were walking up the stairs before kick off we heard a massive cheer, legged it up, just in time to see the replay of Reading's equalising goal ;D Lol what a start to our game.
United, top of the league, United United top of the league!

Couldn't go today, had tickets and all but we gave 'em to my cousins who came over from Ireland as a Christmas present. It was a nice gesture I suppose, I would have been happier spending a fiver on some socks though and going to the United game.
