Richardson has had enough chances, he's had plenty of time to prove his worth, and if we want to stay in the Cup we need to be using the players who want to win and want to be playing for United. If Richardson wants to prove he is worthy of that, stick him in the reserves whilst he does it.
As much as Park still is recovering from his injury, I would rather see him because I know he will at least give his all, because he doesn't take his place in the squad for granted.

Well said missunited. Richardson's ego is too big for him to be a worthy player in the squad. I think I read in one of the fanzines that after a couple of months of being in the first squad he bought a Bentley. Sums him up for me.

As it is a cup-fight Heinze has to be in the starting line-up! I'd also play Giggs and Ronnie at least for the first 45minutes. Up front I'd love to see Rooney alongside Larsson as classical center forward. Larsson would set him up big team and it would kick Rooney into a good second half of the season. I can't understand why you lads want to have a Dong on the bench when we have Smith sweating blood for a proper comeback in a red shirt. I guess Dong will never make a United bench (well come Sunday my words may become shit an fall to ground )

I understand people questioning Richardson, but then those same people should see faults in Gabriel Heinzé's play recently for United.

Everyone recognizes the faults in Heinze too. The difference is Heinze has been recovering from an injury. What's been Richardson's excuse for the last year or so? Heinze has become back up, and he is good back up to have. Richardson isn't even good enough to be back up at the moment, because he brings nothing to the team.
You can't compare the two.

I'm be at the game Sunday so please SAF don't play Richardson!
Larsson would be a treat though upfront with Ole. What ever the team though - good entertaining match (off the seat stuff) and a victory = through to 4th round. Happy days!

Kuszczak to face Villa
Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed that Polish international goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak will replace Edwin van der Sar for this weekend's FA Cup tie with Aston Villa.
The summer loan signing from West Brom has been restricted to just three starts since arriving at Old Trafford, but has turned in fine performances each time and will be given another runout against Martin O'Neill's side.
Speaking at his pre-game press briefing Sir Alex also confirmed that new signing Henrik Larsson and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will both play against the Villans, but hinted that he was unsure whether both would start the game.

I was right about Kusczsak and let's hope I am about Richardson. Yeh you were right about Kusczsak, but I'm slightly nervous that Fergie may be underestimating Villa, this game won't be easy. And I'm sorry mate but I really hope Richardson's not even in the squad, let alone the first eleven. I've just had enough of him. Maybe I'm being too harsh on him.

Well said ;D, As long as we go into the game with the right frame of mind we will be ok, players like Richardson don't have a positive frame of mind and a good work ethic, Park does simple

Tomasz has got a great oppurtunite to show really what he can do as he hasn't had an awful lot of match time, he can really prove that he fill provide competition for Van Der Sar in goal which will be good to see, looking forward to seeing him play for 90 minute as i've only seen match highlights so far
