haha i said he deserves to because of the goal, im not saying he would benefit us so much but he deserves because of the goal, missunited i wasnt so serious as u think i was, but i think carrick should get his head up and do what he did in the first half of the season his passing was phenomenal and i think if OT has a great pitch hopefully he could get back to they way he passes, and it opens up great. and lille no way they are going to score at OT, allways united have to do it the hard way in europe but not this time! COME ON NOW! i cant wait for the game it feels like 2 years are left 2 the game.

I really want a good performance from us against Lille, we've been picking up results recently without looking that great so being back at OT I'm hoping for a return to some great attacking football and overall a better display. Lille have to try and get a goal so that will open some space for us to get at them on the counter, I'll go 2-0 United.

Carrick was average for us when he first joined, slowly getting better and better, in the second half of the season he's been brilliant, he's one of our top passers and the second best tackler. He might not be noticed much, but he does a lot of good work, no way was he better in the beginning of the season. Anyways... Can't wait for this one, our lads should be well up for it after the match in France, lets kick some froggy butt

Yeah agree with that line up, think Evra will be "rested" after the dippers match. We beat the Scousers and are still in the CHampions league.. lovin it I hope Evra is actually told why he's dropped if indeed he is, you can't say Heinze doesn't deserve a chance after Evra's performance. Although Evra hasn't made mistakes in Europe so maybe he'll keep his place. Wouldn't rule out Silvestre getting involved at left back, he's filled in really well in the last few chances he's had. Hope Fergie doesn't bullshit Evra though. I hope Rooney isn't fit for this one, he needs a rest and Saha is looking top notch at the moment and quite clearly won't play if Rooney is fit. He's just not been in any of our games recently. After the Liverpool game i can't see us slipping up here, Ronaldo to have a big game after his mehr in France, hope Park is involved with his experience in Europe, don't think Lille would be able to handle his workrate 3-1 United, them to score first, aint that always the way in this situation

With the season Evra has had it's easy to get careless, and he needs to learn that if he can't cut it, then there will be people waiting in the shadow, whether it will be Heinze or Silvestre. I do agree Silvestre should be given a chance too, especially as he's done well in his last three matches. Fergie favoured him against the dippers, he might do so again?

Heinze should play ... those french players were playing extremely rough in the first leg...all our tough boys should be playing... let's teach them a lesson

Am I right in saying this is Larsson's last game in a United shirt at Old Trafford? Glad I'll be there to see that because he's been great for us in his short Reds career. Adam's XIVan Der Sar
Neville - Ferdinand - Brown - Evra
Ronaldo - Scholes - Carrick - Giggs
Rooney - Larsson Subs: Kuszczak - Vidic - Heinzé - Park - O'Shea - Fletcher - SahaI've gone with Brown because Vidic has had a few poor performances and I think he should be kept on his toes as well as giving him a little break. Prediction: 2 - 0 UNITED; Larsson, Ronaldo.

But Brown's been just as poor in recent games in my opinion, especially against Fulham.

i dont agree with what some1 wrote about carrick at all. i dont get on the backs of united players usually but i reckon carrick is just a luxury player, he didnt do 2 bad against scousers but he doesnt do the graft and put his foot in. but i just hope we go out an play against lille instead of just sitting back more coz of the 1 goal advantage. hopefuly can start playing quality football again but the result is most important thing at end of the day. maybe not this season coz league is more important but we need to do somethin in europe soon 2 proper establish are selfs in europe coz 2 european cups int good enough for a club as big as us.

i have a feeling this game will be quite easy for us?...i dont know why but i think united will start playing beutiful again and win 3-0 or 2-0 but it will be a brilliant game. and i think the morale of the team has risen after the victory over liverpool not just that lately ferguson have used many different players line up and nobody feels out of the team, maybe park feels that, i think he will come back and play at his best in the next 1-2 games. and i still hope richardson fulfills his ability. 2 days left lads 2 DAYS:D:D cant wait cant wait
