After the win over Liverpool, hopefully the lads are still focused. There is a chance that we'll have no Rooney for this also. My pick: (Without Rooney) Van Der Sar
Neville - Ferdinand - Vidic - Heinze
Ronaldo - Carrick - Scholes - Giggs
Saha - Larsson I chose Heinze, as I think he's starting to get back to his best and we must be very strong defensively, a clean sheet is all we need. Prediction 1-0 (2-0 agg) - Henrik Larsson

Yeah agree with that line up, think Evra will be "rested" after the dippers match. We beat the Scousers and are still in the CHampions league.. lovin it

That's the line up I'd expect to see but I hope Rooney does play. I think being at OT will be a huge boost and more importantly I really want to see better play than we've seen in the past few matches. Yeah we've won but our weaknesses in those games can be capitalized by a good enough team.

I think the team will be fired up with all the comments and antics coming from the Lille camp. The pressure is on the frogs to score at least 2 goals; therefore a strong back-line is needed. Saha deserves a start as his introduction at the dippers made all the difference. We don't want any further injuries or bans thank you. I'll go for 3-1 to Man U (obviously ).

Well.... after the last few weeks I could do with an easy 6:0 win with absolute now tension in it!
I hope Smith gets some 15 minutes playing time!

'Used to have respect for that French team, even after they played a huge part in dumping us out last season (and I like Odemwingie) .. but after that shit two weeks ago, I wanna STUFF 'em!
I'm going for 2-0. Carrick to score one of them, lol.

Lets make them suffer. But we have to be wary. They are difficult to break down and if we sit on our lead we'll be punished. Attack is the best way of defence.
Attack Attack Attack......The united way since 1878

O'shea deserves to start ahead of Carrick? Because he scored in one match? Like fuck. We're all thankful he stepped up, but I really hope you were joking.

O'Shea did score a vital goal but no way should that earn him a place in the first 11. By the way, did anyone think Carrick played particulary well against the scousers? Garth Crooks named him in his team of the week. I don't think he was anything special.

by that logic Fletcher should start as well because he scored that header he knew nothing about in last season's match against Chelsea...

I wouldnt want to be a Lille fan at OT come Wednesday....
i hope we go all-out-attack for the first 20-25 minutes and score 2 goals
then we can coast for the rest of the game and hopefully not use any unnecessary energy.
3-1 united. Saha HATTRICK!
