Job done. Ronaldo and Carrick were particularly impressive, and Heinze is back. Referee could quite easily have sent off Rooney, the lad seemed to be trying to get himself sent off. Needs to keep his trap shut.

Morrisson pro'lly shudda just got a yellow .. he did take out Ronnie, but he didn't do anything else.
Thank goodness Wayne didn't lose his head .. can't afford a suspension with our injury mini-crisis.
PK spot on, but perhaps Woodgate didnt deserve the yellow .. just mistimed.
Heart was pounding for this one .. Boro didnt do much, but one mistake and they'll punish us.
'Can't believe Rooney didnt score.
On to Watford in the semi's! ;D

Should have been 3-0 with rooney two MAJOR misses, but in teh FA Cup it doesnt really matter if you win 1000-0 or 1-0, as long as you win...
Ronaldo, once again, and carrick very impressive and Heinze showed signs of "himself" (ARGENTINA)

Laughed at the sign language that Ronnie was giving to the Boro bench. The only thing missing from it was the 'wanker' gesture. Bye bye bitter boro. ;D

happy, carrick good work son, heinze looked good, rooney good to see that he didnt get sent off, and he had a bit of bad luck, ronaldo great work to create the penalty and wanking boro ass cunts who say he dived, and what a finish by ronaldo. 1-0 not the best game, but still, these types of game do it, and ronaldo showing loyalty after the goal! LOVE IT!

Pleased with the win, we deserved it. Disappointed to go in 0-0 at half time after playing so well. It is encouraging to see United playing great football again. Carrick was my man of the match, he controlled everything. And at long last, Heinze is looking close to his best. Now it's Evra's turn to work hard to get in our team.
Without doubt a penalty, and what a cool finish from Ronaldo. Morrison is a twat. 8 games left to play and he's going to miss three of them through making a pointless, awful challenge. Funny to see CQ being dragged away from their bench...probably the most popular thing he's done in his time at United lol.

Well done boys, didn't quite show the form that we displayed against Bolton, but a win is a win and I'm happy to see us through. Definite penalty. Southgate and his team should look at the replay again if they're not sure. I don't know why they had to call him a cheat, no way was it a dive, but if they call him a cheat because of the way he took the penalty, two runs, then I don't think they can complain directly at him. The referee was happy to give it and therefore they should complain to him, or have a look at the rulebook. I love Ronnie. He's class. And he knows it. And he likes to tell people. He deserves Player Of The Year without a doubt. |

I'm delighted to see Gabby Heinze playing well again, after his tough time coming back from all the injuries.
Result is all that matters. Nice to see Queiroz sticking up for Ronaldo.
